Amity Man Dies in Sledding AccidentSalem-News.comA tragic turn for a family enjoying the Oregon snow is a harsh reminder of the risks. (AMITY, Ore.) - Kenneth John Meyer was sledding with his wife and son outside of McMinnville when, at 11:48 AM, his sled left the driveway and slid into the path of a northbound 2004 Mazda pickup, according to police.
