Salem Police and the Marion County Sheriff's Office have both confirmed to Salem-News.com Sunday night that 40-year-old Jessica Smith of Goldendale, Washington, who is wanted in connection with the death of a toddler and her teen sister found critically wounded in a Cannon Beach hotel, was NOT arrested in Salem or Marion County as many people on social media have been reporting.
