(FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash.) - Police in Washington State are actively searching for a missing Oregon mother who was spotted by a couple boarding a ferry in Anacortes headed for Friday Harbor Thursday morning.

The San Jan County Sheriff's Office says the couple was able to tell deputies everything currently known about 38-year-old Jennifer Huston and her vehicle. Police said the couple spotted a woman matching Huston's description on the 9:00 a.m. ferry, and even had all the current details about her vehicle.

Police are quickly working on recovering the ferry and Anacortes and Friday Harbor terminal's surveillance video to see if they can spot Huston or her vehicle.

Investigators from the Dundee-Newberg police department, and the family of Jennifer Huston have been notified of the sighting in Washington State. They added that tips are still coming in from Oregon and other places and they will follow all leads until Huston is found.

On Saturday, family and friends continued their search for the missing mother of two who vanished after purchasing gas at a Newberg Circle-K/76 gas station around 6:32 p.m. The mother of two boys, ages 3 and 6, reportedly left her home in Dundee to run errands and told her husband she was feeling "stressed out".

Police agencies from around the state also kept an extra eye out for Huston, but only during regular patrols.

Since last week, police have been working around the clock, along with friends, family members, and even complete strangers nationwide, trying to locate Huston, or her vehicle, a dark green 1999 Lexus SUV with Oregon license WXH-011. Police added new information late Tuesday on the vehicle, that it has a "U" shaped crack in the windshield on the passenger side and there is a Yakima Ski Rack mounted on the roof.

Huston is described as white, average build, 5'7, should length blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black yoga pants with black and pink Nike running shoes.

Surveillance video also caught Huston on purchasing Gatorade, a package of trail mix and a package of over the counter sleep aid pills from a local Rite Aide Drug store, just before she purchased gas.

Police continue to stress that as of this time, there is no known criminal nexus to this case, nor is there any known threat to the public. The case is being handled as a missing persons case.

Jennifer's husband Kallen made a desperate plea for her to come back home if she is able. Me and the boys just want her back home to Dundee safe, Kallen Huston said.

Remember: If you see Jennifer or her vehicle, police say to call 9-1-1 immediately!

Do you think she may be bi pilar. She might be having an episode where she blacks out & doesn't know exactly what she's doing . I have a friend who gets like that. A few actually. If she said she was stressed, this may be why she took off. If this is the truth, that she was spotted in Washington. It's very common to " disassociate " 'when in this state of mind. Just a thought & maybe a reason why. I use to work with NAMI. I also deal with depression, panic & anxiety attacks myself. I really hope she is alive & if found can get the help she needs. Well wishes to all friends & family members
