Police Need Help Finding Offending Driver

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Hit and Run crash Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to locate a vehicle and driver involved in Wednesday morning's serious injury hit-and-run crash along Interstate 5 south of Wilsonville.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and ODOT responded to a reported three vehicle hit-and-run crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the 282 interchange at approximately 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, May 21st.

Memorial Day Weekend Traffic Safety Reminder

Law Enforcement All Over Oregon Will Participate in "Click It or Ticket" Campaign Throughout the Holiday Weekend

(SALEM OR) - traffic safety In the midst of the current "Click It or Ticket" campaign running May 19 - June 1, Oregon State Police, county sheriffs and local police agencies urge local and long distance travelers to be aware of the increased enforcement efforts during the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.

Starting 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, troopers will focus enforcement efforts on encouraging vehicle occupants to buckle up; keeping impaired drivers off the road; and deterring distracted and dangerous driving behavior.

Witnesses: Veteran Took Final Police Bullet to Head on Her Hands and Knees, Execution Style

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ford's death is on-going and is led by the Oregon State Police Major Crimes Division.

(SALEM) - 25-year old Jacklynn Rashaun Ford, a military Veteran, was shot to death by a Salem Police officer. UPDATE: It has been discovered that Jacklynn Ford was not a Veteran.

Salem Police are two for two. Officers in Oregon's Capital city have killed people in the line of duty twice in two weeks. They also had an officer unleash a deadly taser in recent days on a man with Asperger's Syndrome.

25-year old Jacklynn Rashaun Ford, a military Veteran who liked to wear her dog tags in pictures, was shot to death by a Salem Police officer named Trevor Morrison who was also a canine officer. Apparently the dog wasn't enough to subdue the woman during a traffic stop, it required multiple bullets.

Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 11 Northeast of Pendleton in Umatilla County

The driver was transported by air ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Walla Walla, Washington. She died after arrival.

(PORTLAND) - Fatal crash Hwy 11 Oregon 5-9-14 Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into the cause of Friday night's single vehicle fatal traffic crash along Highway 11 near Adams in Umatilla County.

On May 9, 2014 at approximately 10:48 p.m., a 2001 Volkswagen Bug driven by Sharon Kay Monk, age 53, from Stanfield, Oregon, was northbound on Highway 11 near milepost 11 when it traveled off the left side of the highway, down a steep embankment and rolled before coming to rest in a field on its top.

Pedestrian Hit by a Vehicle in North Portland Dies - Major Crash Team Investigating

The man killed on Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle has been identified as 43-year-old James Earl Hunter of North Portland.

(PORTLAND) - Death investigation Sunday morning, at 4:04 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a naked man running in traffic near North Columbia Boulevard and Portsmouth Avenue.

As officers were en route to the call, a second report came in that the naked man was doing push-ups in the roadway then a third report stated that he'd been struck by a vehicle.

Pursuit from Benton County to Polk County Stopped by Spike Strip Deployment

This incident was a great indicator of how well Law Enforcement jurisdictions from multiple agencies work together to protect the public from danger.

(DALLAS) - Vehicle in chase that spanned Benton and Polk County Oregon 5-1-14 On 5-1-2014 at about 6:00 p.m. the Benton County Sheriff's Office contacted the Polk County Sheriff's Office to request assistance with a pursuit that began in the city of Corvallis.

Units were advised that a whi te 2000 Subaru bearing Oregon Plates YPV051 had eluded Corvallis PD and was involved in a hit & run accident during the pursuit in their city.

Sheriff`s Deputies Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash

Deputies will determine over the next days whether any drivers will be cited for any driving offenses.

(SALEM) - Fatal crash, Salem Oregon 4-30-14 Yesterday at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies with the Marion County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Team responded to the 9800 block of River Road NE, near Keizer.

The investigation conducted by Traffic Safety Team Deputies has determined that the 2013 Cadillac, driven by Loyd Penner, age 86, of Dallas was slowing and preparing to make a left hand turn into Egan Gardens.

Fatal Pedestrian-Involved Traffic Crash - Interstate 5 North of Woodburn

OSP, Woodburn Police Department, Woodburn Fire Department, and ODOT responded to the scene where the deceased adult male pedestrian was found lying in the right northbound lane.

(WOODBURN) - Pedestrian fatal accident 4-25-14 Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of the Marion County medical examiner, is continuing the investigation into Friday morning's fatal pedestrian-involved traffic crash that occurred in the northbound lanes about two miles north of Woodburn.

Initial investigation indicates the pedestrian intentionally moved into the truck's path resulting in the death of the 50-year old man. His name will be released later today.

Regional HazMat teams from Coos Bay and Roseburg responded to handle the hazardous material spill and coordinate clean up.

(ROSEBURG) - Fatal crash near Roseburg 4-12-14 Oregon State Police (OSP) are investigating into the cause of Saturday morning's traffic crash on Highway 38 near Scottsburg that resulted in the death of a Gold Beach man and minor injuries to two others.

On April 12, 2014 at approximately 6:07 a.m., OSP Southern Command Center dispatch received a report of a head-on crash on Highway 38 near milepost 18.
