(PORTLAND) - Sunday morning, at 4:04 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a naked man running in traffic near North Columbia Boulevard and Portsmouth Avenue. As officers were en route to the call, a second report came in that the naked man was doing push-ups in the roadway then a third report stated that he'd been struck by a vehicle. Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the adult male, who was deceased. The driver, 39-year-old Michelle Kidby, was cooperative and was not impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash. Her vehicle, a 2010 Honda Civic 4-door suffered very little damage in the crash. Michelle Kidby was not impaired by alcohol or drugs. The man killed on Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle has been identified as 43-year-old James Earl Hunter of North Portland. No citations have been issued in this case which remains under investigation. The Oregon State Medical Examiner has submitted blood samples from Mr. Hunter for toxicology and results are expected in a few weeks time.
