It was reported tonight that Gaddafi's body is still being paraded around Libya by the rebels at this time.

We had video of the brutalizing of Col. Gaddafi published very early; gunshots are heard, and then the camera shows the national leader's lifeless body.

Occupy Protests and Homelessness

It would do Americans well to set aside their biases for a moment and visit the protest camps.

As Russian TV reports, this is the first time the Alliance has conceded responsibility for civilian deaths, although Libya's Health Ministry claims more than 800 people have died in three months of air attacks.

(CHICAGO) - In a talk at New York City’s Barnard College the night the Hamas-Israeli prisoner exchange was announced, Noam Chomsky anticipated the one-sided media coverage of the exchange. He charged the media with treating Israeli Jews as people, while dismissing Palestinians as “unpeople”.

Chomsky, who is Jewish, brings credentials to this issue as both an acclaimed linguistic scholar, and a strong advocate of Palestinian human rights.

(TIJUANA, B.C.) - Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement, a protest in Tijuana is shaping up to be a test between the right of citizens to assemble peacefully and the desire of authorities to maintain public order.

In the wee hours of the morning of Tuesday, October 18, dozens of state, municipal and possibly federal police officers raided Occupy Tijuana’s encampment in the border city’s Plaza Rio zone and arrested 27 people, mostly young professionals and students, for violating city ordinances.

Libyan Confessed to Killing Gaddafi

A young Libyan fighter claimed in a video posted on the internet overnight that he had captured Libya’s deposed leader Muammar Gaddafi and shot him twice, fatally wounding him.

(ALEXANDRIA, Egypt) - The claim, made by a youth from Benghazi identified as Sanad al-Sadek al-Ureibi, added fuel to growing speculation over how Gaddafi died on Thursday.

It also seemingly contradicted claims by Libya’s ruling National Transitional Council that Gaddafi was shot in the head when he was caught “in crossfire” between his supporters and new regime fighters soon after his capture.

The international lawyers, whose assistance has been arranged through Gadhafi family members and friends, have accepted the obligation to represent Saif al Islam against charges filed by the International Criminal Court on June 26, 2011 and to represent him in any and all legal proceedings that the NTC government may bring against him in Libya.

Gaddafi Story Ended With a Whimper

Gaddafi liked to be referred to as “Brother Leader” but actually he has never been a brother nor a leader to his fellow Libyan citizens.
