PTSD: The Other Ultimate Sacrifices And Marijuana
Dr. Phil Leveque, Professor of Pharmacology Salem-News.com
Is there any limit to what Veterans must endure? Where is the "support for troops" now?
(PORTLAND, Ore.) -
I have nothing but honor and utmost respect for the 300,000 of my fellow dogfaces in WWII who died so that I could write these stories honoring them.
I was committed to combat late in WWII, but many in my company and my battalion whom I knew well were killed, many just in front of me. It is an eerie feeling just to remember “there but by the grace of God, go I”. This happened too often when I was in a combat zone but for only about three months. I even get those feelings today, 68 years later. This is PTSD.

PTSD: Anxiety, Fear and Anguish
Dr. Phil Leveque, Professor of Pharmacology Salem-News.com
One dictionary said “depression is sadness”, if that is so, PTSD is cancer of the soul.
(PORTLAND, Ore.) -
“Marijuana works best,” say combat Veterans. I base this statement from my experience with hundreds of Vietnam veterans who discovered that C/MJ worked better than any other medicine given them by the medics for “battle terrors”, and its sequel, PTSD.
The military, especially the owners of the combat infantryman, have been calling PTSD “depression”. I researched many websites to see if I could find a medical definition. What I found was seemingly unlimited advertising for anti-depressant drugs which did not offer signs nor symptoms of depression.

Recent television stories confirm this.
(PORTLAND, OR) -
Epilepsy, in its worst form; Dravet Syndrome, is certainly the worst disease a child and its parents can have with hundreds of severe grand mal seizures a day which occur frequently and without warning. Simple epilepsy is bad enough, afflicting about one or two percent of the population.

Marijuana: Does it Cause Men to Grow Boobs? How about women?
Dr. Phil Leveque, Professor of Pharmacology Salem-News.com
Man-boobs, or "moobs"... C'mon, it's the munchies, not the marijuana!
(PORTLAND, Ore.) -
I was astonished to read this in the Oregonian (Dec-4 2013) from the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Oregonian is notorious for printing this adverse garbage. In the same edition was a story about the lack of good, anti-nausea medications.
It is well-known by anyone who reads that marijuana is one of the best anti-nausea medications, better than the two standard medications mentioned in the article: Dramamine, which is really Benadril, and Zofran, which only works about half of the time. Cannabis/Marijuana (C/MJ) is the best drug for nausea and vomiting.
