Portland Police Investigating Homicide Downtown

Detectives are asking for more witnesses to come forward with information on the homicide as there were dozens of people who left the area before officers had a chance to speak with them.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting investigation Police responding to a disturbance early this morning were just clearing the scene when officers heard several gunshots coming from the area of NW 2nd Avenue and Couch Street.

Additional officers responded and found a 20-year old male down in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

Portland Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Death

Pelham was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on one count of Murder

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Stabbing Investigation On Saturday September 25, 2010, Portland Police Homicide Detectives arrested 51-year-old Charles Edward Pelham in connection with the stabbing death of 45-year-old Todd James Young.

Pelham was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on one count of Murder and will be arraigned in Multnomah County Court on Monday.

Portland Police Investigate Stabbing death in NE

This investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Stabbing investigation The victim in last night's homicide has been identified as 45-year-old Todd James Young of Northeast Portland. The Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy this morning and determined that Young died of a stab wound.

Portland Police Officers responded to the report of a stabbing outside Paddy's bar in the 1700 Block of Northeast 122nd Avenue. Officers arrived and found a 45-year-old male on the ground suffering from a stab wound.

Salem Chosen to be Part of $230 Million National Electric Vehicle Project

Salem has been working with ECOtality, the State of Oregon, and other public and private sector partners since January 2010 to prepare for the deployment of EV charging stations

(SALEM, Ore.) - Electric Vehicle Charging Tuesday, August 31, 2010 – Salem, Ore. – Beginning October 2010, ECOtality North America, the project manager for "The EV Project," will begin installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Salem and three other metropolitan areas in Oregon (Eugene, Portland, and Corvallis).

ECOtality is overseeing a $230 million public-private initiative to deploy nearly 15,000 EV charging stations in six states and the District of Columbia. The $230 million project is funded, in part, through a grant from the Department of Energy (DOE).

U.S. Border Patrol arrest Man wanted in connection with a 2004 Portland, Oregon Homicide

Portland Police Detectives are in Yuma, Arizona assisted by the Yuma City Police Homicide Detectives.

(YUMA, Ariz.) - Carlos Anaya-Vera On Thursday, June 24, 2004, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Portland Police Officers were called to the 300 block of Southeast 126th Avenue to check the welfare of the resident at that location.

Upon arrival, police and medical personnel found an unconscious female inside. Medical personnel pronounced the female, later identified as, 31 year-old Leticia Bracamontes, dead at the scene. The Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy and determined the victim died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
