COLA (Cost Of Living Adjustment) Is Nada

Senior citizens won't see a cost of living adjustment for the second year in a row.

(CLEVELAND) - Does this refer to an ice cold red, white & blue can? Nope!
How about Bill Cosby’s favorite soft drink, good old Coke?
Neither, as COLA refers to something dealing with money,
By no means is it sweet & delicious as queen bee’s honey.

(CLEVELAND) - Many women's names are featured prominently on the list of the world's most noteworthy leaders. Overcoming all types of adversity and hardship, these are people who held fast to their values, making the world a better place.

There are so many qualities that are connected to these leaders. Confidence, the ability to reason, diplomacy, and always the dominating factor, that is love.

Should the Pulpit be Held to Higher Standards Than Elected Office?

On many occasions this rise to power through religion happens without even a high school diploma; even fresh out of jail for a multitude of crimes. From the outhouse, to the Penthouse.

(CLEVELAND) - Religion and the preaching of it can divide or conquer Not just America- but the world.

It is separated by two entities, language and religion or belief in the Almighty... but the Almighty what or who? God, Allah, Jehovah, Jesus, Buddha and who knows how many others.

(CLEVELAND) - For all of the talk about being American and taking exception to issues involving migration, etc., many of us forget that only a small number of people actually really trace their heritage to this great nation.

Women, especially those with the wealth & power to make a change should be spear heading the movement.

(CLEVELAND) - We began with the, "Bimbo Revolution I II & III" followed by, "Violence Against Against Females" and now comes the Coup de grace. The expression coup de grâce (pronounced /ˌkuːdə ˈɡrɑːs/; French: [kudəɡʁas], "blow of mercy") means a death blow intended to end the suffering of a wounded creature.

However, can we really end the suffering of violence towards women when women themselves accept the roles of the wounded creature?

Perhaps the nation will someday invest in the treatment and care of people who have survived, and the education of the offenders, otherwise it just goes on and on.

(CLEVELAND) - Neither women or children are not placed on the earth to be abused, and it is sad that this has to a subject in our modern society.

Sadly, family abuse is a widespread problem in America and the examples constantly cited by news anchors assail us, and should be a wake up call for everyone that it is time to put our foot down and demand an end.

Every celebrity has a role in helping preserve dignity for women.

(CLEVELAND) - Americans need to re secure their moral foundation. There are positive elements in society and they need to be moved to the forefront.

There is just too much smut sliming its way out of Hollywood and into the hearts and minds of easily influenced American youth and young adults. It isn't just Hollywood and film, it is also the music industry, the Internet, and more. Billboards are frequently used tools of exploitation.

Black History Month (Don Imus now Dr. Laura?)

People don't realize how significant this is to the present day.

(CLEVELAND) - Many Americans believe racial bigotry is a thing of the past; but an examination of very recent developments in the United States does not really support that theory. If America was healed from its racial past, the problems today would be very different.

Those who are not prejudiced and assume the same about others of their own race, do represent a significant part of the population. Ignorance may be bliss, but that is not what this country is really about.
