Jessica Alba & Kate Hudson 'The Killer Inside Me'

Women, especially those with the wealth & power to make a change should be spear heading the movement.

Salem-News.com

(CLEVELAND) - We began with the, "Bimbo Revolution I II & III" followed by, "Violence Against Against Females" and now comes the Coup de grace.

The expression coup de grâce (pronounced /ˌkuːdə ˈɡrɑːs/; French: [kudəɡʁas], "blow of mercy") means a death blow intended to end the suffering of a wounded creature.

However, can we really end the suffering of violence towards women when women themselves accept the roles of the wounded creature? Here we have two, "stars" in the field of big screen/feature film entertainment.

It's fine to make a movie like this living in a gated community surrounded by professional surveillance. Not just on your security enhanced property but with bodyguards circling your every move away from the comfort of muiti-million $$$ mansions. Women, especially those with the wealth & power to make a change should be spear heading the movement.

Not torpedoing it by pushing the ok button on destruction. More like MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) yes they should be, "mad" like the scene from the movie Network. Where Howard Beale (Peter Finch) proclaimed, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore." Well, when will these women get, "mad" as well?

Jessica Alba & Kate Hudson "The Killer Inside Me"

Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson, surely two viable movie stars,
However, this time even these actress/ladies have gone too far,
By allowing themselves to be savagely beaten in a movie flick,
The fist pounding on Jessica’s face will simply make you sick.

But first she gets spanked to tears on her butt by a leather belt,
The kind that masters would use on slaves to bring about welts,
She plays a prostitute, who is bludgeoned by a psychotic killer,
In this movie with Casey Affleck billed as an upcoming thriller.

Shown at the Sundance Film Festival in the state of Utah no less,
Looks like the headquarters of Mormonville is in a state of regress,
She allegedly left halfway through the screening for excessive gore,
01/24/10 but her rep says that’s not true because she’s seen it before.

Well, I too have seen her in the series “Dark Angel” as she played Max,
She was a champion for the defenseless, always cool, calm and relaxed,
But this character assignation was so out of sorts, a bitter pill to swallow,
Supposedly left early to catch a plane to be with family, that’s so hollow.

Who in the world would want their relatives to see this or take any pride?
It is these kind of sexual exploits that make those involved run and hide,
Any sensible person would have left maybe to catch a rocket to the moon,
Yet knowledge and wisdom could not allow a role in such gloom & doom.

My, my, my! Has no one ever heard of Domestic Violence & spousal abuse?
To have the nerve to make and promote such a feature with morals that loose,
Oh yeah, she had already seen the screening and Jessica was very well pleased,
Bet it was the same Satan who told Eve it was OK to eat from the forbidden tree.

Anyone who wants excessive gore join the military, go to Afghanistan or Iraq,
We’ll see how pleased you really are minus your limbs from that motor attack,
Oh yeah one more thing, after the spanking her abuser claims that he was sorry,
Well, she says not to be, it’s ok, and now it is really time to have a sexual party.

And this is not the real sickening part from, “The Killer Inside Me” just wait,
She’s pulverized about three full minutes, fist to face, fist to face, fist to face,
Her eyes are swollen shut, jaw’s exposed and part of her face smashed away,
But, she and obviously everyone else involved in the film is pleased you say?

Michael Winterbottom’s film is definitely paving a road to the bottomless pit,
As later on in this work Kate Hudson as well is taken on a similar sadistic trip,
Still, we can’t place all the blame on the producers, directors, writers or studios,
Because the bottom line is, an actress has to agree to play the part of the, “Ho!”

So, I’m not talking about a woman with her cheeks & boobs hanging out,
Nor of one where profanity freely flows like Niagara Falls from her mouth,
Definitely not a female who is known by her favorite smoke and/or drink,
And her designer clothes cost more than ten teachers make. You think?

Three well know names in feature films that many classify as acting first class,
And yet they read and accepted the script instead of saying, “no thanks I’ll pass,”
Get some B movie actors, has-beens or new comers struggling to make the grade,
Because, I am into quality material and not just interested in simply getting paid.

Hey! On second thought not even a B movie actress should have taken this part,
Because violence against women needs to stop once & for all, not continue start,
I saw a picture of Jessica and Michael standing together with a smile on their face,
Proudly no less, when they should have been somewhere hiding in total disgrace.

Does Satan own every production company? Not quite, God still sits on the throne,
However, it’s still up to the actors and actresses to reject, leaving these parts alone,
Although someone will agree to it like there’s always someone willing to sell drugs,
But, it is not the classy cream of the crop bunch, just the bottom of the barrel thugs.

There are many bible scriptures against this kind of material, where should I begin,
James 4: 17, “Any person who knows what’s right but does not do it, to him it’s sin,”
Verse 1: 21, “Get rid of all moral filth, evil, wickedness and humbly accept the word,”
Okay, here’s two of hundreds and to make sure there’s no confusion here is a third.

My Sister Vic pointed out Psalm 101: 3, “I will set no wicked thing before my eyes,”
These abusive movies & those like them should never be made, word to the wise,
However, “wise” is not something that’s relevant or it is in extremely short supply,
Because this never should have been written, produced or directed and that’s why.

This reminds me of Charlie Sheen when asked by reporters about a project he did,
Some slinky crap as he viciously shot back, “Hey! Can’t you see I’m with my kids?”
Yeah Charlie! But, it’s millions of kids who make your butt-wipe show what it is,
So, it’s okay for other parents children to watch but not yours. Ha! That’s show biz.

I wonder if 15 or 20+ years down the road as a mom would she want her kids to see,
Or even be proud of the violence, language, sex scenes from, “The Killer Inside Me?”
It’s utterly amazing how many of the “stars” will not allow their children time after time,
To see certain seedy characters they portray in film but it’s okay for your kids & mine.

Here’s 1 final observation that’s extremely important no make that critical to note,
Here are people in position to detract violence toward women, yet they promote,
Is it any wonder that many domestic violence victims feel there’s simply no hope,
Many movies & television series like this crap treat abuse like it’s an artistic joke.

This or any poem is not meant to condemn any child of God just their behavior,
Especially when contrary to the teachings of Jesus our only true Lord & Savior,
Like it or not, those in the public eye of entertainment will always be role models,
Be it acting, sports or politics just ask yourself “what do I want my kids to follow?”

Luke Easter is a poet who writes about things that are very close to the heart of Salem-News.com. Another former U.S. Marine, Luke heals the world with an approach that reaches people on a different level, one known for centuries, yet too often forgotten in the one we live in.

We live in a world of social & economic injustice. The main reason for founding America in the first place was to relieve the oppression of the King of England. Patrick Henry said it best, “give me liberty or give me death.” And yet, all too often death seems to be the only way out. Why is there such a high suicide rate especially among teens, in the land of the free & the home of the brave? What makes headlines? Good news? Ha! More depressing stories than anything else. I feel poetry takes an edge off the hurt of bad news while still delivering it but in a, “glitzy” sort of way. Giving a different perspective. Kind of like slap in the face as opposed to a knife in the back. At least with the slap you’ll live to see another day and you will know whom it’s from. I wasn’t here for the beginning of the world but at 59, I just might be here for the end.

Even though it’s still a knife, rhyme poetry helps to dull the blade. And that’s my job. You can write to Luke Easter at: lyricsfromlucas@aol.com

U R my Sister in the Lord. It was sincere. If I cannot sincerely bless U The FATHER will not sincerely bless me. Deuteronomy 11:26-27 and 30:19.

Luke, if you can't bless sincerely, don't bless at all. It's either you wish me well or not. (Sorry, but I took it personal).

I dont know what I was thinking religous folks wont apply critical thinking so its pointless to point out the lie .My original point was this .Just what part of the constitution and the general idea of freedom gives you the right to influence rules regulations and laws to adhere to your idea of morality . Im down with stopping violence but as long as there is no victim [and as long as all parties are willing and are of legal age of consent] it should be nobodys business but thiers what they watch what they do what they consume etc. This pleasure equals crime stuff has this country all screwed up .Peace

Not a perfect world, just one of respect. However, when women don't respect women don't get mad when men don't either. Almost like Blacks who use the, "N" word like a term of endearment but ready for blood when used by others. Chairity begins at home. As for magic... Faith is in God, the creator of life. Magic? I'll meet you in Vegas. Plenty of good magic there. Bless (cough) U both.

Natalie September 1, 2010 8:28 pm (Pacific time)

Luke, I'm not missing the point, but creating a perfect world is impossible. Folks always demanded "bread and action" (read bloody entertainment). Those are 2 primary desires. You can't change it. You can only watch that movie or not. Usually, 5-10 minutes is enought to tell if it's anything good. I quit watching TV a while ago; whatever movie I need, I can find it online. And I always read first what it's about. I have the power to choose. As long as there's a demand, there will be a supply. Always. Stop watching that stuff, and producers will have to change the topic. That's the only tool you can use to manipulate them. That's all I'm saying.

Apostate [denouncer of my religion],that would be me! Psychological belief structure in terms of religion ,Dan pointed out the flaw .Religion is based on faith in magic ,or in your words faith is the belief in things not seen [and beyond what is possible].Religion defies logic and science ,and that is why I no longer even give it lip service. In fact religous crazys are my pet peeve. Fact after fact puts the lie to christianity and the book of fairy tales . "Christians" dont have any critical thought process when it comes to the bible ,they cling tightly to thier magical thinking .This is why they hate reasonable people who point out just how flawed thier stories are . If I told you the sun revolves around the earth would you believe me? If I said the entire universe was created in a small portion of a day for the earth and its inhabitants would you believe me .I could go on all day. Religion only works if you ignore reallity and take it on faith in the impossible and we are talking insanely impossible. Peace

"The Killer Inside Me" is not a classic and you are missing the point. It's about not promoting violence against women as ok everyday life. Volunteer at an abuse shelter for battered women. See the black eyes, broken noses, arms, legs, pelvis... Missing teeth, burn marks, skin grafts, fear in their eyes and the sound of terror in their soft spoken voice. See the movie and tell me you'd let your children watch it. You don't have to make movies about bible stories but this crap? Has anyone who commented actually seen this movie? "They threaten the overall psychological belief structure?" What the hell is that and what is an apostate? This isn't the comedy news.

Natalie August 30, 2010 6:35 pm (Pacific time)

Here's where I disagree with Luke. Next step would be prohibiting such classics as War and Peace, Crime and Punishment, Anna Karenina etc. because they have scenes of violence, cheating, suicide or sex. I'm not saying that Nabokov's Lolita should be on the priority 1 reading list for teens, but I read it in high school and survived. (It was on the "black list" and we just HAD to see what's so bad about it.) As for promoting, we're all aware of the teeens' pregnancy and abortions rates; obviously sex education started too late for them. As far as I'm concerned, as soon as the babies are delivered, nurses should start teaching them practice safe sex by pulling on condoms before diapers and taking them off only for hygiene needs. That way they, hopefully, won't forget about it when they're 13. We would also have fewer fatherless children and mothers who can't say even whose genes their children have. There's a question re how to keep those condoms from falling off...well, they can always go back to those things that older people use to keep their pants in place, what's it called... ummm...suspenders, if my memory doesn't fail me.

Douglas Benson August 30, 2010 7:18 am (Pacific time)

Mabey they should just make movies about bible stories.Theres plent of sex violence degragation of women magic ect.
What bothers me most is that somehow these religous people think they have some kind of right to control the rest of us . What we watch what we do etc.
They are shocked that the majority doesnt believe in thier mythology and are angry that thier veiled threats of exclusion from eternal life in fairytale land go unheeded, funny how you have to die before you recieve this gift . Now dont get me wrong violence against women is nothing I support ,Im not into SandM but if its your thing more power to ya{as long as everyone is willing] .
You rant about how filthy these movies are but you still watched them ,oh yeah research thats the ticket . Its a friggin movie bub.

Doug: Here's the thing about religion. Adherents believe on faith. But, no matter how strong their faith, deep down they know that what they believe might not be true. So it's about psychological security. The more people you can get to agree with you or follow your religion, the more comfortable you can feel that it is true. That's why the evangelicals and related (like Mormons and JW) proselytize. The higher the numbers, the greater the feeling of confidence.

Conversely, this is why heretics, infidels and apostates are so feared and hated. They threaten the overall psychological belief structure.

Hope this helps. Daniel
