An officer of the Newberg-Dundee Police Department was involved in a crash Tuesday on Hwy 219 near Sitka. The officer was in uniform, driving a marked police car, and traveling Northbound on Hwy 219 when he reported observing a vehicle traveling Southbound without its head lights on.
