Missing Daughter Shows up in Internet Porn, Family Uses YouTube to Find Her

A Nevada mother turns to YouTube to locate her missing daughter.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Police and federal agents are looking for convicted pedophile William Matthew Smolich and Angela Finger. Michelle and Patrick Finger say they aren't going to stop trying to locate their daughter who unknowingly became involved with a convicted pedophile. Sadly, the only sight they catch of her now shows up on elusive Web porno sites.

Her mom says that two years ago, Angela was bright and sweet, and was very close to her family. But that all changed in a heartbeat.

Skeletal Human Remains Found on Island in Willamette River

Anyone with information about missing persons should direct questions should contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Skeletal remains Deputies in Marion County responded to a report of possible human skeletal remains that were located on a small island in the Willamette River, between Salem and Independence, Oregon. The call came in around noon Sunday.

Sgt. Kristin Knutson with the Sheriff's Office says that at this time, deputies confirm that the remains are in fact human, and the investigation is continuing.

Coast Guard Launches Search for Three Missing Fishermen Near Stevenson, Washington

A capsized unregistered tribal vessel, matching the description of the missing vessel, has been found in shallow water on the Columbia River.

(STEVENSON, Wash.) - Coast Guard HH-60C Jayhawk helicopter The Coast Guard Sector in Portland is responding to a report of three missing fishermen in the vicinity of Stevenson, Washington.

The Coast Guard says they received a call at noon from the Skamania County Sheriff reporting three men missing. It is reported that he three men, treaty tribal fishermen from the Yakima Nation, left Tuesday and were scheduled to return at 8:00 AM today.

62-Year Old Woman in Albany Located

Genny Chapman was missing, she was located Tuesday, April 6th, 2008.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - 62-year old Genny Chapman is missing in Albany, Oregon A 62-year-old woman who walked away from the Golden Wings Adult Foster Home in the 900 block of SW 21st Avenue Sunday, has been located.

Albany Police were concerned because Genny Chapman suffers from dementia, has a history of walking away from her home, and has traveling great distances in the past.

Police Say Three Lebanon Kids Were Kidnapped

UPDATE: Good news. The children were found (summer 2008), and reunited with their biological mother.

(LEBANON, Ore.) - Suspects in the case are Charles Agosto and Julia Anne Payne Investigators say three Children were taken from 800 Harrison Street in Lebanon, Oregon at about 1:30 AM this morning by their non custodial parent Charles Agosto and his domestic associate Julia Payne.

Child Missing Since Early 2004 Recovered by Oregon Deputies

Information on the missing girl had been posted on the National Missing and Exploited Children's Website.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Child and adult holding hands image A missing six-year old child who had been listed on the National Missing and Exploited Children's Website was recovered yesterday by Washington County Sheriff's Detectives.

Sgt. David Thompson, spokesman with the sheriff's office, says they took custody of six-year old Kaylee Faith Dale who had been listed on the website since January of 2004.

New Oregon Law Allows Use of DNA in Missing Person Cases

An April 2008 check of the Law Enforcement Data System showed 1,379 missing person records, police hope the new law will bring that number down.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon State Police Forensic lab "Missing" - one of those words that definitely perks our interest, but it can be frightening when used regarding a loved one.

An amendment to Oregon's Missing Person law will help families who have missing relatives by adding the tool of DNA analysis to the investigation through providing an important DNA sample that may be useful when a relative is missing, making it easier to identify a loved one's remains when they are found.

Kidnap Suspect Arrested Near Grants Pass

Police say the man kidnapped the same woman twice.

(GRANTS PASS, Ore.) - 49-year old Robert Alan Bufanda was arrested by police today for kidnapping, the victim was safely recovered. A man wanted since an April 15th kidnapping of a Grants Pass-area woman followed by another kidnapping today of the same woman was arrested about 4:30 PM in a wooded area near where the stolen 2001 Ford Ranger Edge pickup was located unoccupied.

They say 49-year old Robert Alan Bufanda of Grants Pass, had been sought by State, county and local police agencies since April 15th after he kidnapped and threatened a Grants Pass woman.

Police Say Man Wanted in Kidnapping Case Snatched Same Victim Again

Bufanda is described as a white male, 5'11", 210 pounds, with blue eyes and bald.

(GRANTS PASS, Ore.) - 49-year old Robert Alan Bufanda Police say they are on the lookout for a man wanted for the April 15th kidnapping of a Grants Pass-area woman, and now the man has kidnapped the woman again.

Lieutenant Brian Powers says 49-year old Robert Alan Bufanda hadn't been arrested for the first offense yet. He says the suspect and victim are believed to be in the Josephine/Jackson County area at this time and police are asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle, suspect and victim.

(CHICAGO, Illinois) - Amber Alert logo The Illinois State Police issued an Amber Alert this afternoon after the children's mother was found murdered in their Chicago home. The three children have not been seen since Friday afternoon, April 18th.

The suspect is Benito O Casanova, white hispanic 32-year old male, 6 foot 1 inches, 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eye. Police say Casanova's vehicle is a 2002 silver/gray Dodge Dakota with Illinois license 86196HB.
