Search Underway for Snowbound Family in Oregon UPDATED

UPDATE: The family missing in deep snow in rural Yamhill County has been located.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Oregon UPDATE: Though radio communications are still difficult: Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree confirms that the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office Search And Rescue has located and freed the family, which is now enroute off of the mountain.

Amber Alert Issued for 4-Year Old California Boy

Anyone with information is asked to call the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.

(PATTERSON, Calif.) - The victim is Juliani Cardenas, a 4-year old Hispanic male. The suspect is 27-year old Jose Esteban Rodriguez. The State of California issued an Amber Alert late Tuesday (01-18) after the suspect abducted the boy in Patterson. The suspect is believed to be driving to the San Jose area.

Juliani Cardenas, an Hispanic male, 4 years old, 3' 6", 40 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a light blue shirt.

Are public officials doing enough to help locate missing kids?

(CLEVELAND) - Hailey Dunn Forward by Mitch Carr: If an Amber Alert had been issued for 13-year-old Hailey Darlene Dunn, you'd see it on blinking TxDOT billboards, hear it on the radio, and be able to see and hear more on TV.

No alert has been issued, however, because not enough information is available.

Family of Missing Portland Teen Says They Want Elizabeth Donald Home

Her family says they are concerned for her safety and miss her during the holidays; Elizabeth is not in trouble, she just needs to return to her home

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - 16-year old Elizabeth Donald 16-year old Elizabeth Donald is missing from the Portland area; now classified as a Endangered Runaway. Elizabeth was last seen on the 24th of November 2010. Police say she could be in the company of one or more adult males.

Elizabeth's ears are pierced, her nicknames are Lyz, Lizzie and Ellen. She has also gone by the name of Ellen in the past and also Madelyn.

Search for Missing Newberg Boater Suspended

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Willamette river search The search for a Newberg man believed to be missing in the Willamette river near Newberg has been suspended.

Yamhill County Sheriff's Captain Ken Summers cited poor weather, rising water levels and risk to divers as the reason the search has been suspended.

Search Continues for Missing Redding Teen

(REDDING, Calif.) - Jean Marie Berlinghoff and suspect Charles Berlinghoff Friends of the family of missing 15-year old Jean Marie Berlinghoff in Redding, California, contacted Salem-News.com asking for our help in getting the word out about the search for this teenager who has been missing for 19 days.

Jean Marie Berlinghoff is with her uncle, a 44-year old man with a criminal record. Law enforcement agencies actively involved in the search considered her endangered.

Newberg Man Feared Missing in River

The search will resume again at 9:00 a.m. Monday mornin

(Newberg, Oregon) - Salem-News.com A Newberg man is missing, and a search is underway in the Willamette River near Dayton.

According to Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree, the investigation began when boaters reported an unusual incident on Friday. “At about 10:23 am on November 26th, my Deputies and Newberg Fire Department Dive / Rescue Team both received a call that a boat may have sunk in the Willamette River near Westin Landing and Mallard Lane” Crabtree said.
