Suspect in Custody following Wilsonville Workplace Murder

The pursuit continued to Woodburn, coming to a stop on a dead-end street.

(CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore.) - Camilo Santiago-Santiago At approximately 8:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15th, 911 dispatch received information that a suspect had walked into Heritage Specialty Foods in Wilsonville and fired multiple rounds with a handgun, killing one employee.

The suspect, 25-year old Camilo Santiago-Santiago, of Woodburn then fled the scene in a red sedan, traveling southbound toward Woodburn.

Thousand Oaks, California Mass Shooting

...as sure as night follows day...

(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) - Ian David Long This marked the 307th mass shooting incident so far this year. Clearly gun violence in America remains an ongoing issue. After these many mass shootings, there has been a noticeable absence of action at the federal level about gun violence in this country and I am not hopeful that there will be any after this latest incident.

I suspect there will be more “thoughts and prayers” and the same discussion -- sorrow, helplessness, outrage, and another futile call for gun control.

Prisoner Fight Results in Warning Shot Fired at EOCI

Officials say 47 inmates were involved.

(ONTARIO, Ore.) - EOCI A warning shot was fired to put an end to mayhem at EOCI today. No one received injuries from the gunfire.

Several inmates engaged in a series of fights on a recreation yard at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI), today at about 2:30 p.m. The inmates refused verbal directives to stop fighting, at which time staff administered pepper spray.

Employee Drops Gun and Shoots Self at McMinnville Hospital

The victim was injured, but not fatally.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Willamette Valley Medical Center This afternoon a Willamette Valley Medical Center employee brought a loaded firearm in a backpack to work. The employee dropped the bag and the gun discharged causing an injury to the employee.

No one else was involved or injured. Police have safely secured the weapon and removed it from the premises. This is not an active situation and the site has been cleared.

One Man Killed and Several Arrested by FBI near Burns, Oregon

Arrests Made in the Occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge: Joint Statement by the FBI and OSP

(BURNS, Ore.) - Finicum 55-year old Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, of Cane Beds, Arizona was fatally shot by in an event that closed down the highway for 40 miles. Authorities did not release Mr. Finicum’s identity; The Oregonian confirmed the information via family.

Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Oregon State Police Troopers were involved in an officer-involved shooting during the arrest of several individuals associated with the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

Military Terror Hits US Cities As Veterans Banned From Owning Guns?

VA doctor asked disabled veteran if he owned any guns.

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) - Robert O'Dowd 2012 I was asked by a VA doctor last week if I owned any guns. I said, “No, but I know how to use them.” He was typing into a government database when he asked the question. I don’t know if my flip response was typed into the database.

The middle age male doctor reminded me of a Nazi scientist (not kidding): Just firing off questions like “is there any mental illness in my family? Was I sexually abused as a child? Do I own any guns? Have I had suicide ideation? Did I ever attempt to kill myself?” Where is all this coming from? I recalled an article I'd read with the above headline.

(WOODBURN, Ore. ) - woodburn oregon shooting As Salem-News.com was first to report, police in Woodburn, Oregon are investigating what appears to be an accidental shooting Sunday evening.

A Woodburn police spokesman tells Salem-News.com that a 24-year-old male was shot by a handgun in the back by a passenger in the back seat of a vehicle while they were parked at the Woodburn Safeway store.

Sheriff`s Deputies Investigating Gunshot Wound

The victim in the shooting incident has been identified as Christopher Martinez, age 23, of Salem. Mr. Martinez has been discharged from Salem Hospital and no further information about his medical condition is available at this time.

(SALEM) - Police car Sheriff's Deputies received reports of multiple guns shots in the 4400 block of Silverton Road NE around 3:00 a.m.

Approximately one hour later deputies were called to the Salem Hospital to investigate a male with a gunshot wound to his right knee.
