National Fatherhood Initiative’s 24/7 Dad® Program Being Used to Connect Fathers to their Children

(SALEM) - Man M. E. N. (Men’s Enrichment Network) will be helping fathers acquire the skills they need to be involved in their children’s lives through National Fatherhood Initiative’s 24/7 Dad® program.

The first group of 7 dads will be going through a 12-session workshop that will give them the parenting, relationship, and communication skills they need to be involved, responsible, and committed fathers.

(FRISCO CITY, AL) - Alexus & Zane I am writing in honor of a friend of mine's grand kids. They both suffer from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. They are having their 2nd Annual Walk-n-Roll for SMA in honor of Alexus & Zane Saturday, April 26th, 2014. I am writing to see if any of you would like to donate to the SMA foundation in their honor. The SMA has been very helpful to Becky and Edward Dick, the parents of Alexus and Zane.

The family is also preparing cook books with southern recipes for sale in April. The cook books will be $20. If you would like to order one, let me know and I will let Becky know.

Son of Murdered Keizer Couple Charged in Double Homicide Along With Second Teen

Although both suspects are 17-years old, the crimes they have been arrested for are Ballot Measure 11 offenses.

(KEIZER) - Brett Pearson and Robert Daniel Miller II, both 17. On Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11:28 p.m., members of the Keizer Police Department responded to 4826 Ventura Loop North after receiving information an alarm had been activated at the residence. While enroute to the location, officers learned there was a male subject inside the residence who reported he had been shot.

Medical personnel from the Keizer Fire District were dispatched to the location while the initial responding officers attempted to make contact with the gunshot victim and render the scene secure.

Marion County Deputies Investigating Home Invasion Robbery

No injuries were reported to any of the residents and further information will be made available as the investigation progresses.

(SALEM) - Scene of home invasion robbery This morning at approximately 1:00 a.m. deputies with the Marion County Sheriff's Office were called to the 8400 block of Mt. Angel Highway.

Residents reported that two men possibly armed with handguns came to the residence and attempted to rob them.

Maria Angela Zapoteco Juárez plans to return to her family in Oregon this March through Bring Them Home.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Maria Angela Zapoteco Juárez of Portland, Oregon Between March 10th and 12th, 150 undocumented mothers, fathers, children, and students will cross into the United States from Mexico as a part of the Bring Them Home project.

They will cross at the San Ysidro point of entry.
