Oregon State Volleyball Leads Pac-10 in All-Academic Selections

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo Seniors Jill Sawatzky (St. Andrews, Manitoba) and Kaitlan Locke (West Linn, Ore.) led the way for Oregon State volleyball, who earned the most spots on the Pac-10 All-Academic Teams with seven, announced Wednesday by Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott.

Rivals For Life - OSU Beavers In The Lead

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Civil War Blood Drive Logo University of Oregon Ducks and Oregon State University Beavers are out for blood. The "Rivals for Life" competition is not just about football, it is about donating blood to help save lives.

The current tally shows the OSU Beavers leading with 2,688 ballots cast and the UO Ducks have a total of 2,241 votes. Last year, the Beavers triumphed and won the Civil War Blood Drive trophy by 1,196 ballots. There is still time to vote, Duck and Beaver fans have until November 20, to donate blood and cast a ballot for their favorite team.

Three Golfers Sign NLI To JoinOregon State Women’s Golf Program

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo The Oregon State women’s golf team received National Letters of Intent from three golfers, head coach Risë Alexander announced on Tuesday.

Helen Searle from Halifax, West Yorkshire, England, Bethany Wurster from Minden, Nev., and Anica Yoo from Port Coquitlam, Canada all signed their letters and will join the Oregon State women’s golf program.

Oregon State Wrestling Moves To 17th In NWCA Top 25

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo The Oregon State wrestling team visited No. 2 Boise State Saturday and wrestled the Broncos to an 18-18 tie to open the 2010-11 season. On Tuesday, the Beavers were moved up five spots in the NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll, to No. 17.

(SALEM, Oregon) - Connie Lynn Anderson Connie Lynn Anderson, 33 years of age, of Salem, was arrested this afternoon without incident after she was picked up at Independence Rehabilitation & Healthcare where she worked.

She has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Solicitation to Commit Murder, Attempted Aggravated Murder, and is being booked into the Marion County Correctional Facility.

Oregon State Women`s Soccer Falls in Heartbreaker to Oklahoma State, 2-1

The Beavers finished the season with an overall record of 16-4-1 which is the best in program history

(STILLWATER, Okla.) - Beavers logo The No. 15 Oregon State women’s soccer team fell to No. 6 Oklahoma State Sunday by a final score of 2-1 at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater, Okla. in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Sophomore Chelsea Buckland gave the Beavers a 1-0 lead at the half but two second half Cowgirl goals were too much for the Beavers.
