Police Say Man Masturbated in Front of 11-Year Old Girls in Beaverton

They want the public's help in locating the man, who is described as being in his late teens or early twenties, with short dark brown hair that is curly and wavy.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Indecent exposure Police say a man in Beaverton drove his car repeatedly by three 11-year old girls while masturbating this afternoon.

Sgt Dave Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office says the three young girls were walking home from Cedar Park Middle School in Beaverton, when a man pulled up next to them and exposed himself.

"The girls went home and immediately reported the incident to one of the mothers who then called Sheriff's deputies," Thompson said.

Woman Cut With Pocket Knife During Assault in Beaverton

The suspect was arrested on the charges of first-degree Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He will be lodged at the Washington County Jail pending grand jury and possible additional charges.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 24-year old Rodolfo Hernandez Cruz Beaverton Police were called out to a report of a man attacking a woman with a knife at 5:14 AM this morning.

Detective Pam Yazzolino says their Department received a call from residents at the Conestoga Park Apartments who said an assault was occurring with a weapon.

Yazzolino says that when police arrived, they found the victim, 28-year old Imelda Vazquez Cabello, in the driver's seat of her car bleeding from her face and neck.

Beaverton Police Believe Rape Suspect May Have More Victims‏

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 21-year old Silvestre Cervantes-Avila Beaverton Police detectives investigating a rape and sodomy case, say their work led to a Washington County Grand Jury indictment against 21-year old Silvestre Cervantes-Avila. He is alleged to have attacked a 19-year old female victim.

Beaverton PD Detective Pam Yazzolino, says the incident occurred on November 10th 2008 at approximately 4:30 AM when the suspect took the 19-year old victim to his Beaverton apartment and forcibly raped and sodomized her at gun point.

"The name the suspect gave to his victim was "Martin" and the gun used was a black, semi-automatic with white pearlized handles. After threatening and abusing his victim Cervantes-Avila let her go but made a point of keeping her underwear."

Driver in Double Fatal Tigard Crash Found on Roof of House

Approximately five to ten minutes into the incident, a Tigard Police Officer doing a perimeter search told firefighters that someone was lying on the roof of the home.

(TIGARD, Ore.) - A crash that killed a 22-year old woman and a 21-year old man in Tigard early this morning involved not just tragic, but bizarre circumstances. The only person who survived the crash was the driver who was ejected from the wreckage, landing on the roof of the house that the car crashed into.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue says they were called out at 2:30 AM to the motor vehicle crash at 135th Avenue and Brittany Drive in Tigard.

Crews arriving on the scene reported finding a car on its top next to a house with two individuals inside. Firefighters quickly determined that the young adult female, 22-year old Shimona Ruscioelli of Portland, was deceased. They determined that the young adult male, 21-year old Nick Anderson of Beaverton, was critically injured.

Church Teacher Arrested in Beaverton Sex Abuse Investigation

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 40-year old David Michael Schedin was a teacher and tutor at the Palace of Praise Church in Aloha, Oregon. Detectives with the Beaverton Police Department have arrested 40-year old David Michael Schedin on charges over having sexual contact with a juvenile female in the Beaverton High School parking lot on April 24th.

Sgt. Paul Wandell with Beaverton Police says the victim reported the abuse allegation to her parents, who was then reported to the Beaverton Police Department.

Deputies Shoot and Kill Suspect After Pursuit

A Beaverton officer attempted to pull the man over earlier the same evening.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - police shooting logo Deputies in Washington County shot a man who died from his injuries Saturday evening after a short pursuit that began at about 5:30 PM. Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff says both deputies have been placed on administrative leave.

Ray says the pursuit began at SW 175th Avenue and SW Shady Peak Lane. Two deputies pursued 39-year old Shane Grundmeyer, after he failed to yield when they turned attempted to pull him over.

Crash on Highway 26 Seriously Injures Two

Beaverton Police and ODOT are still on scene at this time, allowing one-lane of traffic to pass through the area of the crash.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - TVF&R Firefighters extricated the driver of the black car and assist in placing the patient on a stretcher to be transported by Metro West Ambulance crews to Legacy Emanuel Hospital. A head-on crash between two vehicles on westbound Highway 26 just west of the Bethany on-ramp Tuesday resulted in the serious injuries of two people. Beaverton Police and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responding to the scene of the crash at at 3:42 PM.

Paul Wandell with Beaverton Police says the adult male driver of one vehicle was extricated rapidly and transported by Life Flight to OHSU's trauma center with possible life-threatening injuries.
