Rodolfo Hernandez Cruz was accused of a viscous assault on his girlfriend in a fit of jealousy on New Year's Eve 2009. He has since been convicted of his crimes and is awaiting sentencing.

Deputies in Washington County were called to the Azteca Restaurant in Beaverton early this morning on a fight involving patrons and security. Seven people were arrested and two were taken to area hospitals, according to Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. David Thompson.
