Drunken Teen Found Passed Out in Stolen Police Car

The suspect reportedly stole a Marion County Mustang patrol car.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 18-year old Nikita N. Efimov Jr. of Silverton An Oregon State Police trooper arrested an 18-year old Silverton-area teenager Saturday night found passed out in what was later determined-to-be a stolen Marion County Sheriff's Office patrol car north of Mt. Angel.

Driver Arrested Following Fatal Traffic Crash North of Salem

One driver, 58-year old Alan J. Olson of Salem, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 49-year old David Don Pallett of Amity Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigation into Monday evening's three vehicle fatal traffic crash on Highway 221, two miles north of Salem near milepost 17 in Polk County.

Police Say Car Crash Survivors Were Combative Toward Emergency Responders

Four Silverton residents involved in crash that police say was alcohol-related.‏

(SALEM, Ore.) - Crash on Hazelgreen Road in Marion County, Ore. 12-22-09 Marion County deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash Monday night just before 8:30 p.m. in the 7900 block of Hazelgreen Road NE.

According to witnesses and the Marion County Crash Team, a silver 4-door 2009 Kia was traveling westbound on Hazelgreen Road NE when it left the roadway.

Shots Fired Near Crowd at Salem Bar (VIDEO)

The suspect reportedly fired 4 to 6 shots in the air, with one round striking the roof line of the building.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Police say a gunman fired several shots near a crowd of people early this morning in the parking lot of The Triangle Bar, at the intersection of Triangle and South Liberty in Salem. Salem Police arrived on the scene shortly after the shots were fired, around 1:15 a.m.

The suspect reportedly fired 4 to 6 shots in the air, with one round striking the roof line of the building, no other slugs were recovered, and no one was hit, or injured.

Springfield Man Arrested Following Serious Injury Traffic Crash east of Florence

One driver received minor injuries and was subsequently arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, 2 counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

(FLORENCE, Ore.) - Crash in Florence, Oregon 12-5-09 Oregon State Police arrested a Springfield man on multiple charges Saturday morning following a two-vehicle head-on crash on Highway 126W east of Florence that seriously injured a Florence couple.

OSP Sergeant Andy Kenyon says OSP troopers from Florence and Springfield offices responded this morning at approximately 2:30 a.m. to a reported two-vehicle injury traffic crash on Highway 126W near milepost 6.

Suspect on Stolen Motorcycle Runs Into Salem Police Patrol Car

The suspect was charged with Driving Under The Influence Of Intoxicants, Driving While Suspended, Reckless Driving, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and was cited for traffic infractions as well.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 27-year old Michael Jones of Salem Police say a suspect driving a stolen motorcycle with no lights ran a stop sign and collided with the side of a Salem Police unmarked patrol car last night.

Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada, says the incident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. when officer Jessie Rios was on patrol as a Gang Enforcement Officer driving southbound on 17th St SE at Trade St SE.

One Person Dies in Crash on Highway 30 West of The Dalles

The vehicle's passenger, 52-year old Timothy Riddle of The Dalles, reportedly left the scene of the crash.

(THE DALLES, Ore.) - Fatal crash Traffic investigators say a 38-year old The Dalles resident died Thursday evening after a single vehicle crash about two miles west of The Dalles.

The initial investigation by Oregon State Police troopers indicates alcohol and speed were both contributing factors in the crash.
