DNA Expert on the Amanda Knox Case

(ROME) - Amanda Knox The Independent DNA Experts review of the Kitchen Knife and the Bra Clasp evidence has been turned in and the first court date discussing the results was on July 25.

Dr. Greg Hampikian is a DNA expert who co-authored an Open Letter on 19 Nov 2009 along with Dr. Elizabeth Johnson and 7 others.

The Pool Party Scandal

An incident involving the corruption of minors is leading to a new resolve.

(CIUDAD, Juarez Mexico) - Ciudad Juarez Police Chief Julian Leyzaola Alerted about a loud gathering at a big house in the Real de San Jose neighborhood known as “The Mansion,” local cops broke up a party last June 29 and detained 115 people, including 77 minors.

Of the detained youth, an estimated 75 percent were 14 or 15 years of age. Police reportedly discovered an intoxicated 12-year-old girl at the scene. The officers also confiscated three kegs of beer and 72 large bottles of brew.

Alcohol Possible Contributing Factor in Serious Crash

Serious injury traffic crash happened on Highway 34 east of Interstate 5.

(LEBANON, Ore.) - Crash 5 June 2011 in Oregon US 34 Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are investigating a Sunday morning two-vehicle serious injury traffic crash that occurred at the intersection of Highway 34 and Seven Mile Lane east of Interstate 5.

Troopers say four people were injured, one critically, and alcohol is being investigated as a contributing factor.

MADD Urges Action on Legislation Closing Loopholes in Oregon’s DUII law

--HB 3075 and HB 3324 require more convicted drunk drivers to use ignition interlocks--

(SALEM, Ore.) - Ignition interlock Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is urging Oregon lawmakers to act on HB 3075 requiring ignition interlocks for the 11,000 DUII offenders who receive diversion and HB 3324 expanding the use of interlocks for third and fourth time offenders.

HB 3075 requires interlocks in the 11,000 diversion DUII agreements. In Oregon, there are approximately 25,000 DUII arrests per year.

Troopers arrested seven more people this year than the prior year...

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Drunk driving Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers reported more DUII arrests around the state in comparison to last year during New Year's Eve night.

Woman Dies in Crash on Broadway Bridge

One person in the car reportedly left the scene...

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Fatal crash Police responded to a vehicle accident on the west end of the Broadway Bridge this morning at approximately 5:30 a.m.

Lt. Kelli Sheffer with the Portland Police Bureau, says investigators determined that the vehicle from this morning's crash was traveling westbound on the Broadway Bridge when the vehicle was unable to stay on the roadway to the Northwest Lovejoy off ramp.
