Serious Injury Traffic Crash Interstate 5 Northbound South Of Woodburn

The other involved unidentified vehicle has not been found

(WOODBURN, Ore.) - Crash Investigation graphic A 3-year old girl was seriously injured and her father and 2-year old sister received minor injuries after their vehicle collided with an unoccupied motor home Sunday afternoon northbound along Interstate 5 three miles south of Woodburn. Oregon State Police troopers from the Salem Area Command office are continuing the investigation.

Crash on I-5 Near Woodburn Sends Three to Hospital

(WOODBURN, Ore.) - crash scene I5 October 17th 2010 between Brooks and Woodburn Police say traffic came to a stop on Interstate 5 today following an injury crash on the northbound freeway between Brooks and Woodburn near milepost 268 led to an initial report of three lanes blocked.

OSP reports that three people were injured, they were transported from the scene by ambulance.

High Speed Race of over 120 MPH North of Woodburn Leads to Two Arrest

The drivers did not know each other

(WOODBURN, Ore.) - Left: Nicholas Phillips Right: Valentin Khalaman Two men involved in speed racing on Interstate 5 north of Woodburn Sunday morning both ended up back at a Salem-area jail after they were stopped and arrested following speeds that reach in excess of 120 mph.

On October 3, 2010 at approximately 10:45 a.m. Oregon State Police (OSP) Trooper Andrew Goffrier was patrolling northbound on Interstate 5 near Woodburn in an unmarked OSP ADEP (Aggressive Driving Enforcement Program) patrol car. As Goffrier was driving in the right northbound lane near milepost 273 he saw a red 1994 BMW 325i car coming up from behind at a high rate of speed. The BMW, followed by a silver 2004 Dodge Neon, slowed down briefly as both vehicles passed the unmarked OSP car and then took off at speeds nearing 100 mph.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Auctioneer Chuck Boyce was attacked by Jeremiah Thomasson at the Woodburn Auction 16 June 2009. On June 22, 2010, Jeremiah David Thomasson pleaded no contest in Marion County Circuit Court to an eleven count indictment charging one count of Attempted Murder, one count Assault in the First Degree, five counts Unlawful Use of a Weapon and four counts of Menacing.
