Oregon sees smaller gain than national average

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - gas prices Demand for gasoline has eased which should result in cheaper gas prices, but the higher crude prices are causing pump prices to rise.

“Unfortunately, drivers won’t get relief at the pumps anytime soon due to the surging crude oil prices, as the cost of crude accounts for more than half of the price of each gallon of gas,” says Marie Dodds, public affairs director for AAA Oregon/Idaho.

Kaiser RNs and Health Professionals Authorize a Strike

The strike authorization vote finished on Sunday night, with 96% of those who voted saying that they support striking.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - OFNHP Nearly 3,400 workers from Kaiser Permanente in Oregon have voted to authorize a strike.

With a staggering 90% participation rate, the vote count was to strike by 96%, meaning of those who voted, 96% voted Yes.
