Vancouver Belts Volcanoes, 10-2

(VANCOUVER, B.C.) - Salem-Keizer pitching struggled against Vancouver, who took full advantage of its opportunities in a 10-2 win Monday night in front of 5,147 at Nat Bailey Stadium.

Salem-Keizer allowed eight hits, six walks, five hit-by-pitch reaches, two errors, and a balk as the Canadians scored 10 unanswered runs to take the opening two games of the series.

Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Add Oregon Native to Roster

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, in conjunction with the San Francisco Giants, announced Saturday that Albany, Oregon native Christian Lichtenthaler will join the Volcanoes roster Saturday in advance of the team's game at Eugene.

Lichtenthaler, who attended Concordia University and played baseball the last two seasons, signed with the San Francisco Giants as a free agent shortly after the conclusion of the 2014 MLB First-Year Player draft.
