(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Oregon State senior guard Ali Gibson Oregon State senior guard Ali Gibson took home silver as a member of the Puerto Rican National Team at the recently completed FIBA Americas Centrobasket Femenino, which wrapped up on Saturday in Monterrey, Mexico.

In five games, Gibson was Puerto Rico’s third-leading scorer, averaging 8.4 points while also contributing 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals.

The Volcanoes improved to 5-1 in second half play, continuing to pace the Northwest League South Division.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - Salem Keizer Volcanoes The Volcanoes didn't take batting practice prior to Sunday evening's game versus Eugene, but they definitely got their swings in en route to a 9-1 blowout victory in the series opener.

Salem-Keizer recorded a season-high hit total of 17 including at least one hit from everyone in the lineup and five multi-hit efforts.
