Homicide Investigation Underway at Home in Northeast Salem

Police have identified the victim as 38-year-old Michael Zeeb, of Salem.

(SALEM) - Shortly before 10:30 PM on Wednesday, Marion County Sheriff's Deputies responded to 4783 38th Ave NE in northeast Salem on a report of gunshots being fired.

When they arrived they found that one adult male had been shot in the head sheriff's spokesman Kevin Rau said.

Medics transported him to Salem Hospital where he died at about 12:15 AM this morning Rau said.

There were others at the home at the time of this incident.

Salem Man Found Dead, Woodburn Man Critically Wounded in South Salem

Police have identified Monday night's shooting victim as 18-year-old Jose Alonzo Quezada of Woodburn.

(SALEM) - photo: Crime scene on Summer street, late Wednesday nov. 29 Salem police, along the state medical examiner and Oregon State Police crime lab investigators are continuing to investigate the discovery of a body in a Mazda Protégé in the 2700 block of Summer Street SE Tuesday.

The body, may be connected to an overnight shooting Monday Church Street near South Salem High School.

Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Johnny Borrero of Salem.

Monday night, just after 9:00 PM a man now identified as 18-year-old Jose Alonzo Quezada of Woodburn, contacted police at a Center Street mini-mart at 12th Street SE and Fairview, and was taken to Salem Hospital then transferred to OHSU in Portland with two life threatening gun shot wounds to his back

Suspect in I-5 Officer Involved Shooting Dies (UPDATE)

Investigators have released the man's name who was shot and died during the August 25th incident. He is identified as 26-year old John Paul Tollver. According to investigators, Tolliver's last known residence was a boarding house in the State of Maryland.

Oregon State Police spokesman Lt. Gregg Hastings says at 12:48 PM, OSP Trooper Russell Decker and Senior Trooper Huff Meyer initiated a high risk traffic stop on a black small car on the right shoulder.

During contact with the lone male occupant, shots were fired.

Homeowner Shoots, Kills Teenage Boy Believed to be Breaking Into Their Home

(ALBANY) - A teenage boy was shot and killed Saturday morning in Albany by residents who believed he had been breaking into their house.

Albany police say 16-year-old Jeremiah Daniel O`Sullivan died of a gunshot wound to the chest at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.

Capt. Eric Carter of the Albany Police Department says at about 2:30 AM police received a call from a resident at 2726 27th Ave. S.E. who said her home had been broken into and her purse, car keys and 2001 Buick Century had been stolen.

Two Sought in Officer Involved shooting

Police need the public`s help in locating 42-year old Joe Luis Duran and the identity of his passenger.

(ALBANY) - Joe Luis Duran Photo: Albany Police An officer involved shooting that occurred Wednesday in Albany is under investigation by the Oregon State Police, and the Linn County District Attorney`s Office.

Albany Police Captain Eric Carter says just after 10:00 AM, an officer stopped a 1999 Chevy pickup with two occupants in the 2600 block of SE 18th Avenue.

In the process of conducting his stop of the pickup, which had pulled into a driveway, the officer learned that it was a stolen vehicle. The driver attempted to flee the scene and the officer fired his duty weapon at the pickup as it accelerated directly at the officer...
