Portland Police Investigate Suspected Gang Shooting

"The Gang Enforcement Team has been called to the scene to investigate this incident due to possible gang involvement" - Detective Mary Wheat, Portland Police

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Police shooting Portland Police are investigating a shooting that happened tonight at approximately 8:00 p.m. Detective Mary Wheat with Portland Police, says an officer was driving in the area of the 8200 Block of Southeast Division and heard gunshots.

"A citizen then flagged down the officer and told him that someone had just been shot and provided the officer with information concerning the vehicle involved in the shooting."

Milwaukie Police Fatally Shoot Man Who Reportedly Had a Knife

The incident is being investigated by the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and the Clackamas County District Attorney's office.

(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) - Police shooting Two Milwaukie, Oregon Police officers shot and killed a man in the line of duty Tuesday. It happened around 4:24 p.m. at the Northridge Condos on SE Freeman Way, according to Officer Kevin Krebs with Milwaukie P.D. He says officers were responding to a welfare check involving a male subject who was bleeding and armed with a knife.

Krebs explained that the officers arriving on the scene, were confronted by that same male adult who reportedly had a knife. It happened in the parking lot of the condominiums.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Tribute for Salem, Oregon Murder victim Montez Bailey Hearts in Salem are broken over the senseless shooting death of Montez Bailey, a young man who was shot and fatally wounded while sitting on a park bench with two friends earlier this week.

His friends where also shot, but they survived. They are 21-year old Skylar Bailey, and 20-year old Cameron Carolino. Police are still looking for the killer.

Man in Salem Park Shooting Dies From Injuries

Two others shot suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds and remained hospitalized.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Victim at fatal shooting in Salem, Oregon 5-26-09 Salem Police say one of the victims in the shooting that occurred at Northgate Park on the afternoon of May 26th has died of his gunshot wounds.

Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada says the victim, Montez Bailey, was sitting on a park bench at the park along with 21-year old Skylar Hyland and 20-year old Cameron Carolino when the suspect walked up, had a brief conversation with them, then fired several gunshots.

Three Reportedly Shot in Salem Park (VIDEO)

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 16 to 18 years of age, with short black close cut hair, wearing a light colored shirt, long blue shorts and carrying a black backpack.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Shooting investigation Salem Police responded to a shooting today at Northgate Park, near the end of Fairhaven Ave. The report of the shooting came in just after 4:00 p.m.

The victims appear to be three minors. Unconfirmed reports at the scene indicate that one victim was shot in the arm, one was shot in the leg and one was reportedly shot in the head.

Vancouver Police Officer Shot: Two in Custody (UPDATE)

The search for the police shooting suspects ends.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A manhunt has ended in SE Portland for two suspects involved in the shooting of a Vancouver, Washington police officer tonight around 9:20 p.m.

The officer is a Vancouver PD sergeant. He was shot during a traffic stop. The bullet struck the officer in the chest but his bulletproof apparently saved his life.

Gunman Kills Eight Sick & Elderly People in N.C. Nursing Home (VIDEO)

The gunman is alive and in police custody.

(RALEIGH, N.C.) - Shooting scene in N.C. Eight mostly elderly and sick people were killed by a lone gunman Sunday in a North Carolina nursing home.

Police say 45-year old Robert Stewart, went room by room shooting elderly victims until a Carthage, N.C. Police Officer Justin Garner shot and wounded him in a hallway, ending what officials called a bloodbath.

Investigators Identify Victim in Fatal Oak Grove Shooting

The deceased is identified as 28-year old Joseph Patrick Haley.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Shooting investigation Clackamas County Sheriff's deputies were called out over a reported shooting this morning at 10:43 a.m.

They were told the shooting that just occurred inside a Willow Creek Apartment, located at 3644 SE Westview, in the Oak Grove neighborhood just south of the City of Milwaukie.

Clackamas County Grand Jury exonerates deputies in March 4th fatal shooting.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Police shooting update The Clackamas County District Attorneys Office says a Grand Jury has exonerated two Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies involved in the fatal shooting of a 68-year old Canby man March 4th.

Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney, John Wentworth, says Clackamas Deputy Brian Lister and Deputy Jesse Ashby, were cleared of any criminal wrong doing in the fatal shooting of 68-year old Hubert Henkel.
