Fatal Head On Crash at Oregon`s Sand Lake

Sand Lake is a very popular destination and continues to grow, making it ever more dangerous.

(CLOVERDALE, Ore.) - Sand Lake, Oregon The Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal head on crash between two sandrail recreational vehicles at the top of the first bowl at Sand Lake.

There were reportedly no injuries in the first vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was found deceased on scene, and the front passenger was transported by Life Guard Helicopter to OHSU with life threating injuries.

Sentencing of Drake Carson Related To Pursuit Fatality

This teenage driver from Marion County faced multiple charges for the January 26th, 2015 traffic crash that left one person dead.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Fatal crash outside Salem Today, Drake Alan Douglas Carson, 17, pled guilty to Manslaughter in the Second Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, and Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.

After accepting the plea, the Honorable Cheryl Pellegrini sentenced Carson to a total of 84 months in the Department of Corrections, followed by 27 months of Post-Prison Supervision.

OSP Assisting Wasco County SO with Armed/Barricaded Subject

The smoke appeared some time after police heard gunshots.

(THE DALLES, Ore.) - death investigation The Wasco County Sheriff's Office and Oregon State Police Arson Unit are investigating a fire which has been confirmed to involve a single fatality stemming from this mornings barricaded subject call in The Dalles.

As fire crews worked throughout the structure a single fatality was discovered. The name of the deceased person is being withheld pending identification and next of kin notification.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Jason Earl Hause passed away on March 1st 2015 in Portland, Oregon, due to complications developed from serious injuries of a tragic motorcycle crash on Feb 27th in which he was cut off in traffic on the interstate by a careless driver. Jason was 37.

Anyone who ever met Jason will never forget him. He had a larger than life personality and a loud and infectious sense of humor, ever the prankster.

Fatal Traffic Crash on HWY 99W near McDougal Junction

ODOT established a detour around the crash scene on the heavily traveled highway.

(DAYTON, Ore.) - car crash Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into this morning's fatal crash on highway 99W near milepost 30, just south of McDougal Junction in Yamhill County.

A Tan Ford SUV was traveling northbound on highway 99W when for undetermined reasons the vehicle crossed the centerline into the southbound lane.

During the 7th hearing, the court heard the testimonies of IHH’s Board Member Att. Gulden Sonmez, Turkish activist Mehmet Yıldırım, British activist Laura Stuart and Palestinian activist Ahsan Shamruk who was wounded on the head during the Israeli attack.

Gary Monaco, Guilty of Manslaughter, Arrested in Bend

Monaco had been found guilty of Manslaughter in the First Degree for the 2012 crash that caused the death of Laura Schaefer

(BEND, Ore.) - Laura Schaefer fatal At about 7:50 p.m. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, officers with the Bend Police were dispatched to a call of a suspicious male attempting to break into a vehicle and possibly using drugs at 63492 Hunnell Road in Bend.

Upon their arrival, police contacted Gary Monaco -- who was found to have a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in Clackamas County Circuit Court.
