Medical Marijuana: Best for Legal Medical Use

In use for 5,000 years, marijuana has endless health benefits, the ability to help people beat dangerous addictions, and it has never caused a death...

(PORTLAND, OR) - Marijuana in the sun For an article like this, it is important to point out that marijuana / cannabis has been used medically for at least 5,000 years and has never caused death by itself. If it is used together with other drugs acting on the brain, it can do so but never while it is used alone.

Another interesting medical fact is that before 1900, there were about 30 pharmaceuticals prescribed for about 100 different diseases. Today marijuana is used for these same diseases.

Marijuana: Legal Sales Explosion in Colorado and Ignorance Explosion in the New York Times

It was comforting to see that hundreds, if not thousands of media outlets jumped into the fray about Brooks' obvious arrogant ignorance over the subject he foolishly purports to know about.

(PORTLAND, OR) - David Brooks then and now. The week of January 1, to January 8, 2014, brought forward two of the most remarkable advances (?) about marijuana use and its detractors. Colorado's marijuana business is exploding far beyond their marijuana commissioners' feeble minds, to a million dollars worth a day.

It just proves that they didn't know anything about marijuana and its use as medicine.

Marijuana: Malignant Misinformation in The New York Times

Reporter David Brooks should ignore National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) propaganda.

His first error from NIDA is that is causes addiction in one of six teenagers. However, about nine percent of teenagers smoke. Nine percent of those become dependent. That is only one percent total.

What`s Worse Than a Nuclear War?

What can you do? The only way to assure ourselves this global disaster will not happen is to join the global movement to abolish these weapons of mass destruction.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Nuclear world What could be worse than a nuclear war? A nuclear famine following a nuclear war. And where is the most likely nuclear war to break out? The India-Pakistan border.

Both countries are nuclear armed, and although their arsenals are “small” compared to the U.S. and Russia, they are extremely deadly. Pakistan has about 100 nuclear weapons; India about 130. They have fought three wars since 1947 and are contending bitterly for control over the Kashmir and for influence in Afghanistan.

Earth`s Weather Patterns

The Earth’s rotational speed is relatively constant and the jet stream flows up to 300 mph faster than the ground speed. Again, the scientists are doing it backwards.

(SAN DIEGO) - Physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer discusses theory of matter with famed Physicist Dr. Albert Einstein. When I was in grade school 80 years ago, the power of the atom was not known or even suspected to be a possibility. The discussions about the heat of the Sun began with the possibility of huge forest fires, then burning coal deposits, then oil and natural gas when they were discovered.

When I was going to the University of Illinois for my Diesel training as a Navy recruit in 1943, we were required to take 4 hour shifts to patrol under the Chicago baseball stadium.

Black Holes

It would be a great help if the astronomers had a better understanding of what they were looking at before they waste more billions of taxpayer dollars on a false premise.

(SAN DIEGO) - center of the Milky Way galaxy Happy New Year. It could be a banner year for the solution of mysteries in the universe. On Dec. 7, 2013 the Science Channel broadcast a program again titled Swallowed by a Black Hole, copyrighted in 2013. I made comments on the program in my July 3, 2013 article titled, “Black Hole Discoveries”.

It reported discoveries that confirm my contention that black holes are created by the combined magnetic fields of all of the stars and planets of the galaxy.

Marijuana for Epilepsy: Best Therapy

Recent television stories confirm this.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Epilepsy Epilepsy, in its worst form; Dravet Syndrome, is certainly the worst disease a child and its parents can have with hundreds of severe grand mal seizures a day which occur frequently and without warning. Oregon Scientists Offer New Insights on Controlling Nanoparticle Stability

They focused on nanoparticles less than two nanometers in diameter — the smallest studied to date — to better understand structural stability of these tiny particles being engineered for use in electronics, medicine and other materials.

(EUGENE) - Professor James Hutchinson University of Oregon chemists studying the structure of ligand-stabilized gold nanoparticles have captured fundamental new insights about their stability.

The information, they say, could help to maintain a desired, integral property in nanoparticles used in electronic devices, where stability is important, or to design them so they readily condense into thin films for such things as inks or catalysts in electronic or solar devices.
