Portland Teen Dead After Shooting in SE Portland

No motive has been determined in the shooting.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - police car lights night Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into Tuesday night's shooting that left one man dead in Southeast Portland.

The victim has been preliminarily identified as a 19-year-old male. Detectives have learned that several neighborhood residents heard several gunshots prior to the discovery of the victim.

Driver Who Hit Two People on Bicycles Saturday Night Arrested

Neither victim sustained life threatening injuries.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Lisa Lynn Vesely On Saturday, at 10:51 p.m., 32-year-old Lisa Lynn Vesely was arrested by Portland Police after fleeing the scene of a crash into two people riding bicycles on Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Officers learned that 30-year-old Jasmine Zamora was riding behind 25-year-old Cameron Duff, when they were struck from behind by a dark-colored car that fled the scene.

Former North Salem Cheerleader, Now Paralyzed, Says New Treatment Program Could Change His Life

A lifetime on a breathing machine and a feeding tube was not an option for Kenneth Connin.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - North Salem High School Cheerleading A former cheerleader from North Salem High School who was paralyzed in a freak accident shortly after graduation, is hoping to make it big the highly competitive fashion industry in New York City with the help of a new rehabilitation program in California.

And now he's hoping for a cheering section of his own.

Kenneth Connin, now 22, and who now lives in Portland, Oregon, was a competitive cheerleader at North Salem High School, and after high school moved to Reno, Nevada to continue his cheerleading career.

Portland Thunder Make AFL Playoffs Despite Loss

The Thunder return home for the regular season finale against the Spokane Shock on July 26 at 7:00 p.m.

(PHOENIX, Ariz. ) - Portland Thunder The Portland Thunder (5-12) got their playoff practice in down in the desert, but the Arizona Rattlers (15-2) walked away from the game with the win, 66-55.

The Thunder defense started the game off right, with a rare stop of the Arizona offense on downs.

Portland Man Drowns on Sandy River Near Oregon State Park

Initial efforts to locate the missing swimmer were hampered by language barriers with the caller as they tried to narrow down where the swimmer had gone under the water.

(TROUTDALE, Ore. ) - Sandy River Sunday afternoon, at approximately 2:30 p.m. MCSO River Patrol deputies along with other emergency responders from Troutdale Police Department, Corbett Fire Department and AMR responded to the report of a swimmer in distress in the Sandy River near Dabney State Park.

The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Birtha B. Subba, of Portland.

Man Drowns at Oregon State Park Sunday Afternoon

(TROUTDALE, Ore. ) - Dabney State Park Police say they have recovered the body of a man who drowned in the Sandy River Sunday afternoon at Dabney State Park.

Mutlnomah County Sheriff’s Office says the victim is man in his 40's who they think was swimming when he drowned.

The pilot was identified as 81-year-old Robert Teneyck, of Woodburn.

(HUBBARD, Ore. ) - Oregon Plane Crash Two people were injured Saturday morning after a small plane crash near Hubbard.

At 10:48 am, a deputy from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a small plane crash near S. Meridian Rd. and S. Whiskey Hill Rd. The two occupants of the plane were out of the plane and walking around when police and medics arrived.

The Viking Athletic Partnership and Fox Sports Radio have signed a three-year agreement to carry Viking games.

56-year-old Wendy Gonzalez, who is legally blind, reported to police that sometime, between 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Friday, her Red Wing Tricycle was stolen from her driveway.

The child, in good health, was taken into protective custody.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Adrianna Marie Vandehey Portland Police arrested a Portland woman Friday afternoon after an alert passerby saw her shooting up heroin with a child inside the car as well.

Portland Police spokesman Stg. Pete Simpson says an officer was flagged down at Southwest 4th Avenue and Harrison Street, after someone spotted the woman inside a parked car shooting up drugs with a child inside.
