(HUBBARD, Ore. ) - Two people were injured Saturday morning after a small plane crash near Hubbard. At 10:48 am, a deputy from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a small plane crash near S. Meridian Rd. and S. Whiskey Hill Rd. The two occupants of the plane were out of the plane and walking around when police and medics arrived. The plane was traveling from the Lenhardt Airpark in Hubbard, and headed to the Mulino Airport in Mulino. The pilot noticed his altitude was too low as he approached some trees but was unable to correct this in time. The wing of the plane struck a tree which caused the plane to go down. The plane came down in a wooded area without causing serious injury to the passenger or the pilot. There were no structures or other property damage. The Aurora Fire Department and Woodburn Ambulance responded to the scene. The two occupants were transported to an area hospital for what appears to be minor injuries. The pilot was identified as 81-year-old Robert Teneyck, of Woodburn, and the passenger was identified as 70-year-old Rosalie Carman of Portland. The FAA is investigating the crash.
