This is the seventy-first installment of the Salem-News.com original series "Nota Bene by Leonardo" by Salem cartoonist Glen Bledsoe.

(All Earth variations across the mult) - Nota Bene 71Reality Distortion If Karl Rove told you that day was night and that red was green would you believe him? (For those who are scratching their heads, it's not a trick question. A simple, "No!" will do.) At this point you have to wonder if the butterball got his meds mixed up. But no, the media in all its dazzling stupidity has given this wacko air time to attempt to change the back-story so that history might remember the disaster of the Bush White House differently.

(Earth-Alpha Rodeo) - Nota Bene #70 The Front Seat The Republicans have botched things so badly that even George Bush has begun to call on Hillary Clinton and give her his "sage" advice as to what she should do once she returns to the White House. Cartoon Strip: Nota Bene by Leonardo No. 68 - Deep Pockets

This is the sixty-eighth installment of the Salem-News.com original series "Nota Bene by Leonardo" by Salem cartoonist Glen Bledsoe.

(Earth-PDQ) - Nota Bene #68 Deep Pockets Who's raised the most money? Hillary? Obama? Edwards? Who won the Moveon.org straw poll? Who's spotted the most UFO's? It is a sad fact that straw polls and UFO's are merely window dressing. The real power is in money. It buys the political messages you watch during your nightly dip into reality television. It pays for the printing of the distorted messages which fill your snail-mail mail box just before an election. It buys YOU in every conceivable meaning of the word. Influence. Money. Power. When running for president you want to find someone with deep pockets. The deeper, the better.

Regular readers of Nota Bene will recognize that's just the way parallel earths work. A changed consonant here, a vowel there -- it's the nature of infinite variation. As on our world, however, the General was called a bad name by an organization also with an alternate designation. MoveOn.org on Earth-GWB is MakeOver.org -- not to be confused with any organization of the cosmetic industry. MakeOver.org like MoveOn.org is furious at the failure of their politicians to halt a purposeless and protracted war.
