(Earth-PDQ) - Who's raised the most money? Hillary? Obama? Edwards? Who won the Moveon.org straw poll? Who's spotted the most UFO's? It is a sad fact that straw polls and UFO's are merely window dressing. The real power is in money. It buys the political messages you watch during your nightly dip into reality television. It pays for the printing of the distorted messages which fill your snail-mail mail box just before an election. It buys YOU in every conceivable meaning of the word. Influence. Money. Power. When running for president you want to find someone with deep pockets. The deeper, the better.
