Body Found in Central Oregon Tentatively Identified as McMinnville Man

73-year old Kenneth W. Miller and 69-year old Betty Lou Japel, became the focus of a McMinnville Police Department missing person investigation May 17th after a man, identified as Gregory Allen Cole allegedly shot an Arizona police officer in Quartzite.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Kenneth Miller of Oregon Oregon State Police detectives have tentatively identified remains found in central Oregon as a missing man from the McMinnville area.

The remains were found Wednesday afternoon by a detective with the assistance of National Guard personnel while searching a section of BLM property east of Redmond.

Police Find Missing Kansas Teen`s Body, Suspect Arrested

Police found Smith's body in a wooded area near Grandview, Mo., about 20 miles east of the Target store.

(OVERLAND PARK, KS) - Kelsey Smith suspect A suspect was arrested Wednesday evening in the slaying of a teenage Kansas girl believed abducted from the parking lot of an Overland Park Target store.

Edwin R. Hall, 26, is expected to be charged this morning with premeditated first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping, Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass said.

Body Discovered in Kansas is Missing Girl

A body discovered in the woods near the Missouri border has been positively identified.

(KANSAS CITY, Kansas) - Image of suspect CNN reports that police in Kansas have discovered the body of missing teen Kelsey Smith from Overland Park, Kansas. They were directed to the area of her body by using cell phone signals, in an area just over the Missouri border.

The discovery was made just outside of Kansas City in an area where two nature trails come together.

Connecticut Girl Found Alive After One Year

Danielle Erica Kramer was reported missing in 2006. Police say the kidnappers were friends of the girl's family.

(BLOOMFIELD, Ct.) - Police in Connecticut say a girl who went missing over a year ago has been found alive. A search warrant was served in Bloomfield, Ct. and the girl was found in a hidden room.

Jeffrey Blatter of Bloomfield, Ct. Police says she was, "A child from some troubled circumstances who thought she found a friend, she went missing over a year ago. The parents are familiar with what is going on and they are talking to us today."

Kansas Police Continue Search for Missing Teen Kelsey Smith

Kelsey Smith, a recent Shawnee Mission West High School graduate, was expected to drive directly home from the Target store but never made it.

(OVERLAND PARK, KS) - kansas police photo Police continue to follow up on several leads regarding the disappearance of Kelsey Smith.

Smith, 18, has been missing since Saturday, June 2nd.

She was last seen leaving the Target store just south of Oak Park Mall at 7:00 PM.

Her car - a 1987 two-door Buick Regal - was found June 2nd in the parking lot of Macy’s at Oak Park Mall.

Oregon Police Take Lead in Search for Missing Couple

Police want to talk to anyone who may have seen or talked to 73-year old Kenneth W. Miller and 69-year old Betty Lou Japel in the last year. The couple traveled to Arizona frequently, the last place they were seen alive is Oregon.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Betty Japel and Ken Miller Unexpected twists and turns and an extended span of time are problems complicating a criminal case out of Quartzsite, Arizona that involves two Oregon residents. The saga leaves one man dead, a police officer injured from gunshot wounds, and a growing mystery shrouding the facts behind an Oregon couple's disappearance.

73-year old Kenneth W. Miller and 69-year old Betty Lou Japel were last seen over a year ago. The McMinnville, Oregon couple spent years on the road traveling in their motorhome, towing a Dodge pick-up truck behind them.

(BAGHDAD, Iraq) - Joe Anzack in Iraq, October 2nd, 2006 The body of Pfc. Joseph Anzack Jr., who was reported missing in Iraq for the second time in two months - has been discovered south of Baghdad.

After an intensive search involving thousands, Iraqi police say they found the body of a Western-looking man in the river in the Mussayab area, the "Triangle of Death." Joe Anzack's body had bullet wounds and signs of torture.

Suspect in Police Officer Shooting With Ties to Missing Oregon Couple Found Dead

A missing Oregon couple is known to have associated with the man in Arizona, and their location remains a mystery.

(QUARTZITE, Ariz.) - Cole with the missing Oregon couple The suspect in a May 17th shooting of a Quartzite, Arizona police officer was found dead in the desert today, about twenty miles from the California border. Gregory Allen Cole who went by the nickname of "Groundhog", is also tied to the disappearance of an Oregon couple.

Cole was found dead off US Highway 95, according to AZcentral.com. The 45-year old suspect was located with an assault type rifle and police believe he shot himself.

Anyone who observes this missing person or vehicle are requested to contact their nearest local law enforcement.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Patricia Aarons The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has received a report of a missing person described to be in the early stages of Alzheimer's. At 11:00 AM this morning relatives of Patricia Lynn Aarons; born in March, 1938 reported her disappearance to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says it was determined Patricia Aarons is diagnosed with Alzheimer's; and is driving a 1998 Toyota Corolla 4-door, blue in color; with Washington License plate 822-TCI.

£100,000 Reward for Information on Missing British Girl in Portugal

Portuguese police have searched 500 apartments, followed up hundreds of leads and interviewed scores of people.

(ALGARVE, Portugal) - Madeleine McCann British 4-year old Madeleine McCann was abducted from her apartment bedroom in Praia da Luz holiday village, Algarve, Portugal, on Thursday, May 3rd, 2007. There is now a £100,000 reward for her safe return.

The Post Chronicle reports that there could be a link between the missing girl and a suspect named Robert Murat. Algarve is situated on the extreme South of Portugal, in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula.
