World War II Veteran Receives French Legion of Honor

Moore was awarded the French Legion of Honor during a ceremony, Feb. 25 Roy Moore fought the Germans throughout France in an effort to liberate them from the grasp of the Nazis.

About 200 friends, family members and guests recently gathered to watch as now retired Col. Roy Moore Jr. was awarded a Chevalier of the French Legion of Honor, for his actions in France during World War II.
