APN Welcomes Obama`s Commitment to Middle East Peace and Engagement with Iran

President Obama recognizes a Palestinian State as integral to peace.

(Washington, D.C.) - Mother Palestine Americans for Peace Now (APN) welcomes President Barack Obama’s commitment to continue pursuing Arab-Israeli peace and to continue focusing on peacefully preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

APN also joins the President’s call on friends of Israel in the US and worldwide to “recognize that Israel’s security as a Jewish and democratic state depends on the realization of a Palestinian state.”

Two Reports of NORAD Intercepting Aircraft over New York

The airspace over New York was busy this morning.

(PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.) - F-16 At 10:46 am (PT) it was reported by North American Aerospace Defense Command, NORAD helicopter intercepts aircraft in restricted area over New York: A U.S. Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter flying under the direction of North American Aerospace Defense Command intercepted a general aviation aircraft that had entered the Temporary Flight Restricted area over New York City, N.Y. this morning.

The aircraft which entered the TFR at approximately 1:00 p.m. EST was intercepted and then escorted out of the area. Then, at 11:06 am (PT) we received another release from NORAD and USNORTHCOM.

Gov Brewer`s Medical Marijuana Lawsuit Officially Thrown out by FED`s Today!

The Honorable Judge Bolton may understand that marijuana crimes are all invalid due to lack of corpus delciti.

(SURPRIZE, Ariz.) - Medical marijuana A lawsuit filed by the Arizona's Governor Brewer in an effort to stop medical marijuana patients from using the lawful herb was dismissed by the judge hearing the case.

The ruling seems to come as a response to the motion to dismiss filed by the ACLU. The judge agreed, stating "These issues, as presented, are not appropriate for judicial review."

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Obama and pot I am completely flummoxed by the complete u-turn made by our president regarding medical marijuana. Nadelman in the NY Times on 7 November points the artillery and fires, what's going on?

In October 2009 he defended the use of medical marijuana and he promised his smoking public that he "would not use the justice department resources to override state laws on the issue". I can not imagine that being a flat-out lie but he surely has some answering to do.
