Four Adults Arrested for Raping and Sexually Abusing Children

Police say teen girls were given pot and alcohol, tied up, raped, and even engaged in sex with a dog and groups of men located through Craigslist ads; one victim was only four.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Suspects Daily, Thompson, Garcia, Moreno Police arrested several adults in what appears to be a bizarre and tragic series of sex crimes involving teenage girls and one four-year old child.

Police say the situation came to their attention over the weekend. A 15-year old girl told officers she had engaged in sex with 44-year old Darrin Vaughn Daily after he gave her marijuana and alcohol.

Oregon Man Arrested for Assaulting Infant

The suspect, Kevin Jarnagin, is being held on $305,000 bail.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - 23-year old Kevin James Jarnagin A Newberg man has been arrested for assault and mistreatment following the investigation into an incident critically injuring a seven-month old infant.

23-year old Kevin James Jarnagin called the Newberg-Dundee 9-1-1 Center shortly after 930 a.m. Tuesday, July 7th 2009, reporting that an infant girl was not breathing and unresponsive.

Suspect Arrested in Newberg-Dundee Child Rape Case

The investigators believe the three-year old girl is the only victim.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Man in handcuffs Newberg-Dundee Police have been trying to locate and arrest a suspect allegedly involved in the rape of a three-year old girl since February 3rd 2009.

Sgt. Tim Weaver with Newberg-Dundee Police says after several attempts in locating 19-year old Neftali Sanchez-Gonzales, officers acted on a citizen tip late Monday afternoon and found him in a house in south Newberg.

Newberg-Dundee Police Arrest 3 Men Over Multiple Armed Robberies‏

The three men are currently in the Yamhill County Corrections Facility in McMinnville.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Francisco Javier Vasquez-Reyes, Jesus Alberto Vasquez-Reyes and Kevin John Marciniuk, all of Newberg, were arrested for armed robberies in Newberg. Three Newberg men were arrested for armed robbery Wednesday evening, moments after they held up a local convenience store, police say.

The case investigation resulted in the arrest of two of the men in a robbery at another Newberg convenience store about 22 hours earlier.

Two Armed Robberies Reported Friday Night in Yamhill County

The suspect in both robberies matches the same description. He is a Hispanic man, in his 20's, about 5'7", short hair and medium weight and build.

(LAFAYETTE, Ore.) - top of police car Friday evening was busy for Yamhill County police agencies as two armed robberies occurred within an hour of each other.

Around 7:30 PM, Yamhill County Sheriff's deputies were called to a robbery at the Bakery and Tacos el Pad Reno, 621 NE Third, in Lafayette where a lone Hispanic man reportedly entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

Police Arrest Two in Dundee Shooting

The charges on Litscher, Homestead and Waggoner will be reviewed by a Yamhill County Grand Jury within a week.

(DUNDEE, Ore.) - Willard Wayne Waggoner, Kevin Duane Litscher and Cory Dwight Homestead. Police made an arrest in the April 30th shooting that took place in Dundee. Around 11:30 PM Thursday, 34-year old Willard Wayne Waggoner was arrested by the US Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force with vital assistance from Salem Police Department and Albany Police Department. The arrest was made at a residence in Albany.

Waggoner is one suspect charged in connection with last month's shooting in Dundee. The late evening event caused traffic on Highway 99W to be closed down traffic on Hwy 99W while members of the Yamhill County Major Crime Response Team investigated the crime.

Fatal Crash Sunday Near Dundee Leads to Arrest of Driver

Driver arrested over fatal traffic crash last weekend on Highway 99W south of Newberg.

(DUNDEE, Ore.) - 26-year old Leonel Zurita Loeza Police arrested the driver of a car involved in Sunday afternoon's fatal traffic crash that resulted in the death of a Dayton woman.

Carma Smith died when a vehicle driven by 26-year old Leonel Zurita Loeza crossed the center grass median on Highway 99W near Dundee, flew into the air and struck her car. Troopers arrested the man upon his release Monday afternoon from a Portland-area hospital.

Dayton Woman Dies in Crash on Highway 99W

Witnesses said one car was being operated at a high rate of speed when it lost control, crossed the grass center median and became airborne.

(DUNDEE, Ore.) - Fatal crash in Dundee, Oregon, 5-11-08 A Dayton-area woman died Sunday afternoon when her car was struck by another vehicle that crossed the center grass median on Highway 99W between Dundee and Newberg.

Police say a third vehicle was also involved in the crash and investigators believe alcohol and speed were possible contributing factors in the deadly crash.

Shooting in Dundee Leads to Closure of Highway

No arrest has been made, and police say suspect information is still being compiled.

(DUNDEE, Ore.) - Shooting investigation A shooting last night sent Newberg-Dundee Police officers to Lumpy's Tavern on Highway 99W in Dundee at about 11:45 PM. The highway was closed for several hours and reopened about 7:15 AM Today.

Police say the victim, 46-year old Grant Leroy Herring of Dundee, reportedly entered the tavern with a gunshot wound. He was flown to a Portland area hospital by Life Flight. His condition is not known.

Newberg-Dundee Police Investigate Suspicious Circumstances at Local Company

A-dec, Inc. is Yamhill County's largest employer with over 950 employees.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Newberg-Dundee Police are continuing their investigation into a case involving suspicious circumstances at A-dec, a Newberg dental equipment manufacturing company.

Police say they were called Monday over a threat of a potentially violent act on the A-dec campus. Increased security and employee awareness measures were taken, according to Sgt. Tim Weaver with Newberg-Dundee Police.
