Thein Sein Disbands Controversial Border Force (NASAKA)

Amnesty International called on British P.M to press Thein Sein to give Rohingyas citizenship.

(PHUKET Reuters / Phuket Gazette) - NASAKA in Burma Myanmar's president has disbanded a security force accused of rights violations against Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine State in the west of the country, scene of deadly violence between Muslims and majority Buddhists in the past year.

"It is hereby announced that Border Area Immigration Control Headquarters has been abolished," President Thein Sein said in a one-line statement dated July 12 but posted on his website on July 14.

(BERLIN) - Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) In 2011, it was announced that the permanent DG for ARU would be elected after one and half years. It was prescribed that the election for congress of ARU would be held with invitation to all Rohingya registered parties.

Tyrannously, it is held by some prostitute OIC great personalities with some favorite personalities amongst Rohingya leaders worldwide. What a mockery it is— the ARU congress meeting was held exclusively with their adopted fiddles—new registered parties and most of them are not due to norms of ARU sharp.

Sentencing of Human Rights Defenders Messrs U Aung Soe, U Maung San and Ko Soe Thu

U Aung Soe, U Maung San and Ko Soe Thu were arbitrarily arrested without an arrest warrant...

(YORK, UK) - Burma map On 8 July 2013, human rights defenders Messrs U Aung Soe, U Maung San and Ko Soe Thu were handed additional sentences increasing their prison terms to 11 years and six months in the case of U Aung Soe, and to two years and six months in the case of U Maung San and Ko Soe Thu.

U Aung Soe is a member of the Yangon People's Support Network. All three are human rights defenders who were arrested in the context of their peaceful opposition to a copper mine and human rights violations connected to its operation.

Total Rejection of DG 5 Year Term Mandate in the Name of ARU

All Rohingyas and well-wishers of the Rohingyas are sincerely requested not to recognize and deal with newly self-established 5 yrs. term with handpicked people, relatives and cronies on July 08, 2013.

(BERLIN) - Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) The Director of Euro-Burma Office (EBO) says the current congress did not derive from the original ARU members. The former DG of ARU and his single handed action of holding Congress with new members without consultation and participation of founding 14 out of 25 founding members of ARU is not acceptable.

Therefore any outcome whatever it may be from two days congress will bear no formal recognition of the EBO.

Rohingya Leaders Say ARU Conference Should Have Been Postponed

(BERLIN) - Mohamed Ibrahim and Abdul Aziz of ERC, and the Prof. Dr. Wakar Uddin at the United Nations in Geneva. On behalf of Rohingyas around the worldwide Mohiuddin Mohamad Yusof (Maung Sein) sent a formal letter to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to postpone the Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) Conference that took place from July 7-8, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Yusof wrote that it’s important to “not to divide the Rohingyas' unity” by holding the conference when 14 out of 25 ARU signatories won’t be attending.
