Deputies Avoid Shooting Knife Wielding Cat Killer Suspect in Aloha

Aloha man accused of killing cat and resisting arrest and several other charges.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - 28-year old Ryan Daggett of Aloha is the suspect in a resisting arrest and cat killing incident; 5-31-08 An Aloha man faces numerous charges from an incident that began early Saturday morning, as deputies attempted to perform a welfare check at his home on SW Sammy Drive in Aloha.

What followed was a bizarre series of incidents; involving a knife wielding man, slashed police cruiser tires, and a dead cat.

Bleacher Collapse at Oregon Grade School Leaves Six Children Injured

The sixth-graders were on the bleachers getting ready to have their class photo taken.

(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - Police Line Bleachers packed with 50 kids collapsed at 10:15 AM this morning at the West Union Elementary School in Hillsboro. Six children reportedly suffered injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.

Information Released in Fatal Shooting Involving Two Washington County Deputies

Steve Stanturf was struck three times with bullets fired from the deputies rifles, they say he fired first and almost struck neighbors with a random bullet.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting investigation Additional Information has been released on Saturday night's fatal deputy-involved shooting incident in Washington County. The deputies involved were Corporal Steve Schuster and Corporal Mark Trost.

Steve Schuster has been with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for nine and a half years. Corporal Mark Trost has been with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for six years.

Man Walks Away From Plane Crash

(Hillsboro) - The pilot and sole occupant of a plane survived a crash Thursday near Hillsboro. Around 9:09 AM, Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office and Firefighters from Washington County Fire District #2, responded to the scene of the crash in unincorporated Washington County.

Deputies say they received a report from the Portland Airport tower that a "mayday" was broadcast, and an Emergency Location Transmitter (ELT) had been activated in the area of the Twin Oaks Airport.
