(CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C.) - Salem-News.com An informational meeting about the CAMP LEJEUNE WATER CONTAMINATION effects will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel, located at 107 6th Street, Pittsburgh, PA.

Between sometime in the 1950’s through 1987, the US Military improperly disposed of chemical degreasers and other toxic substances that ultimately contaminated the drinking water at Camp Lejeune.

Treasure Island`s Toxic Problem

Turns out that old Treasure Island Naval Station is some of the 'hottest' property in San Francisco...

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Toxic piles at Treasure Island School The Blue Angels jet fighters racing across the sky maybe 500 feet above me, were practicing for an air show so the Navy could show off what it considers the very best in personnel, training and equipment.

Their presence over the old Treasure Island Naval Station that day was ironic, because I was visiting the island to see the Navy at its most decrepit and toxic.

The Demise of Don`t Ask, Don`t Tell

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Don't Ask Don't tell On October 12, 2010, Judge Virginia A. Phillips of the Federal District Court for the Central District of California issued a nationwide injunction banning enforcement of "don’t ask, don’t tell" (DADT), the law that prohibits openly gay men and women from serving in the military.

Thus, the court in Log Cabin Republicans v. United States of America stopped the 17-year ban on openly gay servicemen and women under which some 14,000 gays and lesbians have been discharged from the military when their sexual orientation was disclosed.

An international lawyer says many now question the truth behind the 9/11 attacks, and that American citizens are demanding an international probe into the incident.

(SHATILLA REFUGEE CAMP, Beirut) - Dr. Franklin Lamb and Pres. Ahmadinejad “Ahmadinejad is absolutely rational and correct on this, that the American people are now coming to the point of demanding an international inquiry (into the 9/11 attacks), ” Franklin Lamb told Press TV.

The Beirut-based lawyer was referring to remarks by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in his address to the 65th UN General Assembly that the 9/11 incident might have been the result of an inside job in the US.
