Hemp Farming Act of 2018 to Legalize Hemp and Spur New Markets

The bill would remove industrial hemp from the federal government’s schedule of controlled substances.

(SRING HOPE, NC/GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - McConnell -Quarles Last week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell introduced a bill, The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 which stipulates that hemp will be legalized and removed from the Controlled Substances Act and also makes industrial hemp eligible for crop insurance.
