Amber Alert Issued in Tennessee for Abducted 13-Year Old Girl

Anyone with information is asked to call the Macon County Sheriff's Office at 615-666-3325 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND or dial 911.

(MACON COUNTY, Tenn.) - 13-year old Judi Juarez, a Hispanic female, is being held by the suspect, 22-year old Jose Martin Cano The State of Tennessee issued an Amber Alert after 13-year old girl was reportedly abducted from her home in Macon County Monday morning, September 21st 2009.

Information developed by authorities indicates that the suspect and the victim may be in the Huntsville Alabama area. Judi Juarez a 13-year old Hispanic female, 4 feet 6 inches tall, 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Tennessee Coal Spill: 13 States Have 3 or More Comparable Toxic Coal Dump Sites

At Least 13 States Have 3 or More Under-Regulated “Wet Dumps” on Worst-Of Lists for Toxic Chemicals; One Coal Pollution Dump in Orlando, FL Holds 10 Times More Arsenic Than TN Disaster Site.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Salem-News.com Nearly 100 largely unregulated “wet dumps” across the United States that are comparable to the Tennessee Valley Authority’s breached site in Harriman, Tennessee for the storage of toxic pollution from coal-fired power plants have a place on one or more of the “worst site” lists for six toxic metals.

In fact, many of the toxic coal ash “wet dump” sites around the U.S. appear to pose a greater potential danger than the Tennessee site that is now in the headlines.

In the case of deadly arsenic, which has been detected in water polluted by the TVA site disaster in Tennessee, the Stanton Energy Facility in Orlando, FL., has reported dumping roughly 10 times more of the carcinogen in its site between 2000-2006 than the TVA did over the same period in its now ruptured Harriman, TN storage pond site.

Tennessee Takes a Deadly Beating from Tornadoes

One survivor, an 11-month old baby boy, surprised rescue workers who assumed he was a doll, until he moved.

(NASHVILLE) - Tennessee tornado destruction Tennessee experienced at least two waves of severe weather that ranged from high-winds and hail to deadly tornadoes. As of 7:15 PM Wednesday, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency reported 31 confirmed fatalities related to the storm activity.

Those deaths, recorded by the Tennessee Department of Health, occurred in the following counties: Shelby, Fayette, Hardin, Macon, Madison, Sumner and Trousdale. More than 149 people have been reported as being injured and one person is presumed missing.
