Putin is Losing Eastern European Energy Gamble

Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said the economic situation in the country in part depends on how the Ukrainian crisis plays out.

(LONDON OilPrices.com) - Ukraine oil Russian President Vladimir Putin said he doesn't think the European community can do without the natural gas it gets from energy monopoly Gazprom. With a Russian economy starting to decline, however, it may be Gazprom that's too strongly interconnected to the European market to break free.

The narrative over European energy security reaches at least back to 2006 when Gazprom first cut gas supplies through Ukraine.

Do You Really Want to Go to War With Russia? The Crazies Do!

Why do we support protests in one place and use brutal force in our own country to end protests??

(JAMESTOWN, RI) - Russia vs USA At times like this it appears we have crazy people making life and death decisions for the good citizens of the US. It is disconcerting to say the least to come to grips with the reality that there are many in this government who are war mongers and who appear to be provoking Russia.

This is suicidal. This is not Libya, or Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Syria, or Grenada, or any of the smaller powers we have chosen to make war on.

Russia`s Actions In Ukraine Threaten Dangerous Instability And Indicate U.S. Retreating from its Leadership Role

Often, we learn the wrong lessons from history

(WASHINGTON DC) - Ukraine war Russian President Vladimir Putin is seriously challenging the post-Cold War international order. Will one nation be permitted to use force to annex the territory of another country---or will it be prevented from doing so?

Thus far, the world's response----and that of our own country, the self-proclaimed leader of the free world----is ambiguous. At this point, aggression appears to have succeeded, with no response other than a rhetorical one.

PRESS TV: Ukrainian Anti-Semitism Revealed

Without question, this alleged act hearkens back to the Nazi years, when the Ukrainians were largely associated with Adolf Hitler's Third Reich in Nazi Germany.

(SALEM) - Ukrainian riot police cracking down on peaceful protesters In order for US foreign policy to appear justified, feckless American politicians always must assess blame to the proper "bad guy" country. It is the way this world works, and it is, quite frankly, why everyone alive is marching directly toward an entirely avoidable third world war.

According to reports, a mysterious group in the Ukraine is telling Jews they have to register with the government, disclose their property and vehicles, and pay a $50 fine for processing. A memo handed out to Jews exiting a synagogue, says those who fail to comply will be forced to leave the country and forfeit assets.

President Vladimir Putin`s Letter to Leaders of European Countries

President Vladimir Putin is obviously not giving into the World Order that Washington wants. He talks big… he talks tough… he talks sense!

(DUBAI) - Salem-News.com President Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are proving to be rational leaders and true statesmen compared to their pathetic counterparts in the US, France, Germany and Britain.

The US Foreign Policy is irrational. They want countries to be subservient to them and they don’t want Israel’s actions or ambitions questioned in the Middle East.

How the NYT Defangs Ukraine`s neo-Nazis

One of the main Ukrainian Insurgent Army battalions was organized by the Nazis who called it the Bataillon Ukrainische Gruppe Nachtigall (Nightingale Battalion).

(PORTLAND) - Nazi Orpo troops with local Ukrainian collaborationist Schutzmannschaft. I posted a more recent example of what Parry calls "unwritten rule of the MSM’s coverage of the Ukraine crisis," to pretend that the neo-Nazi militias were simply one of Vladimir Putin’s “delusions” or a figment of Russian propaganda or at most a minor and insignificant factor in ousting Yanukovych.

In the article link below on the killing of a notoriously violent Right Sector activist, NYT reporter Andrew Higgins describes a comrade of the deceased as "Yuriy Shukhevych"...

Looking Back at Last Year`s Meteor Over Siberia

Again, the scientists focus on the resistance of the atmosphere and pressure while completely ignoring the fact that the meteor is passing through the magnetic field current of the Earth at high speed.

(SAN DIEGO) - Tempel Alive with Light. The meteor that “exploded” in a brilliant flash in Siberia on Feb. 15, 2013 offers important clues to meteors and comets if it is viewed in proper pragmatic context. Unfortunately the importance of this flash is ignored or unnoticed, as were these other reports.

NASA Flight Director said the Vega spacecraft was “Zapped by an electrical charge” when the International Cometary Explorer “zipped right through the Giacobini-Zinner Comet tail” in 1985.

Understanding Marx

Review of Crisis and Change Today by Peter Knapp and Alan J. Spector

(OLDENBURG, Germany) - Karl Marx Knapp and Spector have written a superb introduction to Marxist thought, a much-needed one, since reading Marx can be a daunting task. The grand old man's prose is often ponderous, abstract, and complex, so many readers can't discern his full meaning.

Crisis and Change Today is a lucid presentation of Marx's ideas, explaining his views on history, economics, politics, and philosophy in a way that makes them understandable and also does justice to their complexity.

Russia Looks East as Relations with Europe Deteriorate

Several market analysts had already predicted before the Crimean crisis that a deal would be finalized this year.

(LONDON OilPrices.com) - Salem-News.com The standoff between the U.S. and the EU on one hand, and Russia on the other, intensified pretty quickly late last week. The U.S. quickly slapped heavier sanctions on Russia after its annexation of Crimea, leading to a mutual escalation of retaliatory measures.

However, it appears that the West gained a bit of leverage at the moment, as the Russian economy has shown some cracks amid uncertainty over how bad this is going to get.
