Billboard Posted in Front of Denver Broncos Stadium Calls on NFL to Stop Punishing Players for Using Marijuana

A press conference was held in Denver today.

(DENVER) - MMJ billboard in Denver, Colorado A billboard calling on the National Football League to stop punishing players for using marijuana was posted Wednesday in front of Sports Authority Field at Mile High, just one day before the Denver Broncos host the first NFL regular season game of the year.

The 48-foot-wide Broncos-themed billboard highlights the relative safety of marijuana compared to alcohol and urges the NFL to "stop driving players to drink" with harsh penalties for marijuana use, noting that, "A safer choice is now legal (here)."

Every step toward allowing patients to use medicine has been met with a barrage of falsities and half-truths which their staff purported as fact. There have been a few factual statements but then some negative aspect has been thrown in.

Apparently the words pot, pothead, pot doctors and pot patients is at the front of their dictionaries because they use them so much.

Twenty states and the District of Columbia have legalized medical marijuana, and Colorado and Washington last year became the first places in the world to legalize and regulate marijuana for personal use.

Marijuana helps many diseases.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - marijuana medicine All of the hullabaloo advertising Dr. Gupta’s apology for maligning marijuana (cannabis) left a sour taste in the mouth of everybody who knew anything about marijuana. He says, “I had steadily reviewed the scientific literature on medical marijuana and thought it was fairly unimpressive.” This is an outright fraud. Even a high school Junior knows better than that.

In his own country, India, it has been used as medicine for about 3,000 years. He is supposed to be a scientist, as well as a physician. How can I, or anyone else, accept his apology about marijuana?
