(PORTLAND, Ore.) - PTSD The recent reports of “drug wait lists” for Veterans seeking VA medical care is egregious beyond understanding for Veterans who were willing to sacrifice their bodies, minds and lives for the 99% of American people who, for some reason, do not seem to understand or care for the plight of the 1% which is the number of Veterans who wore the uniform and faced the cruel enemy which is BATTLE.

The New York Times printed several articles delineating the cruel consequences of battle and the worst features of inadequate or dangerous medical care of Veterans of current and previous wars.

Randy Fletcher Yuba County District 5 Supervisor Candidate Linked to Cult

It has been my experience that when a candidate dodges a question or interview that there is something their hiding.

It's a chance to get out and explore the community and hear from the people who live there. In Yuba County, there are four candidates competing for the District 5 Supervisor seat held by long time incumbent Hal Stocker.

However, out of the competing candidates, only one has recently been accused of being tied to a religious cult located in the Yuba Foothills called the Fellowship of Friends.

Marijuana Policy Expert to Give McCall Lecture at OSU

The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Construction and Engineering Hall in the LaSells Stewart Center, 875 S.W. 26th St. The lecture is free and open to the public. It is presented by the OSU College of Liberal Arts and the School of Public Policy.

(CORVALLIS) - Mason Tvert Mason Tvert, communications director for the Marijuana Policy Project – and a leader of the campaign to legalize marijuana in Colorado – will deliver the annual Gov. Tom McCall Memorial Lecture at Oregon State University on Tuesday, May 13.

In his lecture, “The Road to Legal Marijuana in America,” Tvert will share insights on the past, present and future of marijuana policy in the United States.

15th Annual Global Marijuana March Brings Crowds to Potland

Oregonians put one foot in front of the other to end marijuana prohibition.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Rep. Blumenauer Nearly a thousand people of all ages and physical abilities marched through the streets of downtown Portland today for the 15th annual Global Cannabis March under cloudy skies and enduring intermittent rain.

There were musicians playing, people singing, kazoos humming. It was a colorful and entertaining time for one and all.

Many wonder if we shouldn’t have the same kind of shift that happened many years ago with alcohol. Remember when ‘drunks’ used to get locked up for the night? Now excess alcohol consumption is considered a health issue.

Oregon`s Grassroots Cannabis Campaign Moves Forward

Legal use of cannabis will stop needless police action and bring in money to the State of Oregon.

(SALEM) - marijuana clones Initiative Petitions 21 and 22, The Oregon Cannabis Amendment and The Oregon Cannabis Tax Act, headed by The Campaign for the Restoration and Regulation of Hemp (CRRH), are in the race for the July 3 deadline.

Initiative 21 would end criminal penalties for cannabis, while Initiative 22 regulates and taxes cannabis, including hemp for industrial and agricultural uses.

Study: Medical Marijuana Reduces Auto Accidents & Alcohol Use

The economists analyzed traffic fatalities nationwide, including the 13 states that legalized medical marijuana between 1990 and 2009.

(DENVER) - Marijuana and driving A study by the University of Colorado Denver and Montana State University shows that laws legalizing Medical Marijuana have resulted in a nearly 9 percent drop in traffic deaths and a 5 percent reduction in beer sales.

The study is the first to examine the relationship between the legalization of Medical Marijuana and traffic deaths.
