FBI & Eugene Police Make Arrest in Child Pornography Investigation

Nationally, there has been a 2500% increase in arrests for offenses against children in the past 10 years.

(EUGENE, Ore.) - online crimes A 39-year old Eugene man was arrested for child pornography crimes this morning about 7:15 by FBI agents and Eugene Police.

Barret Russell Spangler was arrested without incident at his home in Eugene. A federal criminal complaint charges Spangler with one count of possession and receipt of child pornography.

Meanwhile, over 750 detainees have participated in in a hunger strike at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, WA since April 10th.

Keizer Man Convicted of Child Sexual Assault and Marital Rape

All of the counts are subject to Ballot Measure 11 presumptive sentences.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Today, a Marion County jury convicted 53-year old Nikolay Avdeyev on multiple charges of rape, sexual abuse, and unlawful sexual penetration.

Specifically, defendant was convicted of three counts of rape in the first degree, three counts of rape in the second degree, one count of unlawful sexual penetration in the first degree, and eleven counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.

David Elliott Pleads Guilty to Murder by Abuse of 3-Year-old Aniya Zamora
