Despite Shawn Rogers' decision to deny Portland's annual Hempstalk event for 2015, the Customer Service Center Manager for Portland's Parks & Recreation department overturned that ruling today thanks to the endless efforts of Paul Stanford and more than 60 Portland cannabis activists determined to have our rights and festival respected.
"We won and the City Council and Mayor of Portland voted to grant our appeal and overturn the Park Bureau's denial of the Portland Hempstalk Festival's permit for 2015. Final date to be announced. Yeah!" said Stanford.

Why Did Israel Attack Southern Syria?

This is not the first time that Israel has conducted a direct military operation in Syrian soil.

While Hezbollah fighters and the Syrian armed forces have been involved in endgame operations aimed at retaking al-Zabadani, the Israeli regime targeted positions of the resistance forces in the Golan Heights, a move that can be described as a help to terrorists besieged in that town and an attempt by Tel Aviv to directly join the clashes in southern Syria.
On Thursday, Israel targeted some border areas in southern Syria. Israeli officials stated the strikes were carried out in response to rockets fired from Syria to northern Golan Heights.

Yemen Army Destroys Saudi Convoy in Jizan

Yemen's army and popular committees have stopped a Saudi convoy near the military base, Jareh, in Jizan and destroyed dozens of armored Saudi machines.
The Sabanet website quotes a military source saying another Saudi convoy loaded with significant arms and military equipment was destroyed in Alkhoube district located in Jizan, adding that this caused the mass runaway of Saudi troops.
