Red Dragonfly Veteran Health Mission: Dodging Raindrops in Tennessee

Weather has impacted the trip but I have been very fortunate for the most part.

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) - Operation Red Dragonfly has been successful and long for a solo motorcycle ride, and it is far from over, which is a mixed bag. I decided to do this national tour to raise awareness of veteran health issues which are claiming lives left and right.

It has been a whirlwind trip, some days have seen nearly 500 miles covered in a single day. Others were busy with speaking engagements and interviews. Overall, I am very happy with it and the team and I see it happening next year as well.

(SPRINGFIELD / KANSAS CITY) - When Tim King was a Marine, his sons had severe health issues from contaminated Marine Corps base water. The boys didn't ask for their problems but they almost died. Neither King says, did the hundreds of thousands of Marines who contracted cancer from the chemical laden water at bases like El Toro and Camp Lejeune.

On his tour, Operation Red Dragonfly, King is riding a motorcycle across the country solo, giving talks on contaminated military bases.

(TACOMA) - I visited Coffee Strong in the Tacoma area Friday and was pleased to see a team organized to offer a strong outpouring of support for soldiers and other members of the military in the Joint Base Lewis-McChord area.

They offer valuable services to those traumatized by the military and war.
