Reward Offered in Eastern Oregon Police Office Assault

21-year old Marisa Belle Hawk is considered to be dangerous.

(MILTON-FREEWATER, Ore.) - 21-year old Marisa Belle Hawk Investigators have identified 21-year old Marisa Belle Hawk as the suspect in last Friday's assault of a Milton-Freewater police officer. The City and the Police Association have offered a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Hawk is described as a Native American female adult, approximately five foot seven inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Amber Alert Canceled for 4-Year Old New Mexico Boy

The suspect's vehicle is a black 1998 Hyundai Elantra. NM License is in the rear window and is JNC 026.

(ALAMAGORDO, New Mexico) - Amebr alert The State of New Mexico issued an Amber Alert after a four-year old child was apparently abducted in Alamagordo on Sunday morning.

They now report he has been safely recovered.

Update on Oregon Highway 26 Shooting Investigation

Police say one of the men remains in serious condition.

(ZIG ZAG, Ore.) - Highway shooting update One man remains in serious condition today and another has been treated and released after both were shot on Highway 26 by an unknown motorist.

Police say the shooting appears to be a random encounter. It happened on Highway 26 in the Zig Zag area. Police say the victims' names are being withheld at this time for safety reasons and the investigation is continuing to locate the suspect in this case.

Deputies Seek Suspect in Salem Home Invasion Robbery

A warrant issued for the man's arrest states he has "Violent Tendencies".

(SALEM, Ore.) - 20-year old Maximillian Navarro The Marion County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating 20-year old Maximillian Navarro who is a suspect in a home invasion style robbery from November.

Navarro is a Hispanic male adult, 5'09" 150lbs, Brown eyes, Black hair. On November 25th of this year, Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to 3917 Lancaster Dr NE, Salem on a report of a Robbery that had just occurred at this residence.

Two Men Shot on Highway 26 in Zig Zag Area

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Oregon State Police Northern Command Center dispatch at (800) 452-7888.

(ZIG ZAG, Ore.) - Police line Two adult males were seriously injured Monday night after being shot by an unknown suspect during what appears to be a random encounter on Highway 26 in the Zig Zag area.

The men, traveling with two children, were shot by a white man with a baseball cap after an apparent roadside confrontation that may have been a case of road rage.

Police Identify Missing Fisherman Off Oregon Coast

The man who fell overboard was wearing yellow rain gear but was not wearing a life jacket

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - 22-year old Andrew Jay Jessup Herbert-Hopper of Tangent Oregon State Police has taken a missing person report related to a fisherman who reportedly fell overboard in the Pacific Ocean Friday morning five miles northwest of the Siuslaw River.

The Coast Guard suspended their day-long search Friday evening. The missing man is identified as 22-year old Andrew Jay Jessup Herbert-Hopper of Tangent. A trooper assigned to the Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division took the report Friday at approximately 9:30 PM after the 75-foot fishing vessel Zora Belle arrived in port.

The boy has been found.

(VANCOUVER, Wash.) - Anthony K. Abruzzini Police say 13-year old boy from the Vancouver, Washington area who was reported missing has contacted his parents and is OK.

The parents of Anthony K. Abruzzini called 9-1-1 to report their son as missing Friday at 5:30 PM.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Two suspect sought by Albany, Oregon Police Albany Police are looking for two armed suspects, and they hope somebody in the public can help them locate these two subjects wanted in connection with two separate incidents.

"Both subjects were reported to have been armed during the commission of their crime and should be considered armed at this time," Detective Sergeant Marv Hammersley said.

(RENO, Nevada) - Legendary aviator Steve Fossett The Civil Air Patrol’s hunt for famed, record-setting aviator Steve Fossett, who vanished on Labor Day during a morning jaunt in Nevada, is the largest and perhaps most expensive in modern-day history.

The 63-year old pilot took off September 3rd for a solo flight from the Flying M Ranch, a posh aviation playground about 70 miles southeast of Reno. Fossett didn’t file a flight plan for the three-hour trip, and he never returned to the ranch.

Remains of Air Force Captain Shot Down During Vietnam War Identified

Captain Stephen Rusch will be buried on November 30th at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington, D.C.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II The remains of a U.S. military officer missing in action from the Vietnam War have been identified. U.S. Air Force Capt. Stephen A. Rusch of Lambertville, N.J. was a was the weapons systems officer in an F-4E Phantom II aircraft that was shot down over Laos.

The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office made the announcement Tuesday. Captain Stephen Rusch was the weapons systems officer in an F-4E Phantom II aircraft lost while attacking enemy targets in Salavan Province, Laos on March 7th 1972.
