In what can only be described as an unusual turn of events, President Obama made what appears to be an attempt to distance himself from the war policies of the United States government.
This seems to be more than just face-saving, with the President expressing deep misgivings over the wars and his inability to carry out his campaign promises to end the wars.

On the day that it was announced Venezuela’s President Hugo Chávez had died from an unidentified cancer, two US diplomats were expelled as persona non grata from Caracas for trying to organize some type of coup and conspiracy against Venezuela.
The Obama Administration would calmly wait until March 9, a day after Chávez’s state funeral, to retaliate by expelling two Venezuelan diplomats.
For those of us that believe our country went down the wrong path, we have to stand up and not march behind those that are willing to fool themselves.

War crimes suspect Bosco Ntaganda is the third member of the Rwandan Patriotic Front, fled Rwanda after charges of heinous crimes in the Congo.

The Afghan government on Thursday accused Pakistan of wrecking efforts to end the Taliban's bloody 11-year insurgency, in the latest sign of worsening cross-border relations.
