The International Labor Organization has now classified Mexico as having the highest rate of informal employment in Latin America.

(LAS CRUCES, NM) - Mexico But a new analysis by the Mexican Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics (Inegi) reports that six out of ten Mexican workers are employed in precarious circumstances.

This means they lack contracts, benefits or retirement plans.

Decorated Marine to Be Released Today from Mexican Prison

Hammar's attorney Eddie Varon Levy plans to fly to Mexico City today to pick his client up.

(SACRAMENTO, CA) - Jon Hammar in a Mexican high-security prison about 15 miles south of the U.S. border Marine veteran Jon Hammar, jailed in Mexico for carrying a shotgun across the border is expected to be released today, according to his lawyer.

U.S. Senator Bill Nelson reportedly received word that the Mexican attorney general's office planned to release Hammar.
